Our tank is a tiny one so we soaked one and placed it into the water. I do not have the capability to actually test the mineral content anymore,as my chemistry set was recently donated so I am trusting that these contain the trace minerals that are stated. It has not negatively effected my tank nor it's inhabitants so that's a plus! Time will tell if they show signs of improved health after being exposed for a while. So far so good.

Cheap and my shrimp are happy. I can’t say they are miracle workers but if they keep my tank happy I’m happy!

Value for money: for 8 dollars I don't think so but I got it on sale for 3 dollars Quality: they are tiny I thought they would be a little bit bigger Water quality: I don't think this has an effect on my water quality as I also have plants in my tank but since my tank is clear I say it works Fish health: I don't know if it works my shrimps avoid the 2 little balls

When I ordered these it was a lovely Texas Fall (highs in the low 80's every day, lows in the 60's at night). Between the time or ordering and shipping we had our first cold snap of fall hit. It's now 40's in the day and upper 30's at night. I was VERY worried about the health of these wee fellows in transit. The box arrived a day before shipping estimates said it would be here (Thank you USPS Priority), and lo and behold not a single lost shrimp in the shipment. Looks like an assortment of reds and yellows, some striped, and a couple blue. This should add a great pop of color for a "tank maintenance crew" in my 20 gallon tall tank.

The seller’s pictures lead me to think these were bigger than they are. These are quite small and I’m worried they will fall between the rocks in the bottom of my tank.
