High quality product

I advise my fertility clients to take CoQ10 for egg quality. I take it myself for mental sharpness, energy, and enhanced mood. It is very important to take the right form, which is found in this supplement (ubiquinol, not ubiquinone). I was taking the Life Extension brand, but in my opinion, Nordic Naturals far exceeds the LE brand. I notice elevated mood, becoming incredibly focused and very productive, with great energy levels. I highly recommend this brand.

I bought this for my dog who is a senior havanese with mitral valve heart disease. He has been on a ubiquinol product for about 9 months and although he has supposed to have gone into heart failure he so far has not. However, I made an error and was giving him ubiquinol at night and he ended up in the emergency clinic vomitting blood. Although no one identified the cause, I suspect it was the ubiquinol and and the brand that I had been using had citrus extract in it that I think was too acidic for him, especially at night. So I went on a search for something more natural and this is the best that I found. I have just started it today, and although I am happy with the simpler ingredients the administration is more difficult. The previous brand I could snip open the capsule and draw up a small amount into a syringe. This product is gelatinous (due to the beeswax, I suspect) so when you snip it open you have to squeeze out the ingredients and try to determine the correct amount to give. Additionally it does not dissolve well in the slurry that I give him with all of his morning supplements, even in warm water. Still, I have continued to look and have not found a better product for my canine friend as I wish to give him simple and pure ingredients. I am hoping he will thrive on this supplement. I appreciate Nordic Naturals and their high quality ingredients. My dog is also on their small animal fish oil supplement.

The reason why I buy Nordic Natural products is because they screen for mercury, arsenic and other toxins. A few years ago I was taking a high amount of Omega 3 produced by another company and a blood test revealed that i had arsenic in my system. The toxicologist asked how much fish i ate, but I don't eat large amounts of fish which the toxicologist first thought was how the arsenic showed up in my blood. Neither did I work in an environment in which I would be exposed to arsenic. The Omega 3 supplement was the only source i could think of.
