Feels like it is pretty sturdy. Easy to install. The red and green sights light up well and can be adjusted. Have yet to fire the gun with the sights andTHUS REASON FOR ONE STAR AS FOLLOWS:When I look through the sight there are 2 images of the sights - like there is a ghost image and it makes the sight difficult to focus on because it makes everything look blurry. So the main image is much brighter then there is a less bright image that sits slightly down from the main image. For example the single dot actually looks like 2 dots almost like a colon sign (:). AND THIS IS NOT A BATTERY ISSUE AS THEY WOULD LIKE YOU TO THINK IN THEIR VERY LIMITED INSTRUCTION MANUAL. One because I tested their battery and it had a full charge and two I replaced it with a brand new battery straight out of the packet also tested and fully charged. Not sure if there is an actual fix. If not will most likely rerun for a full refund because this can be very detrimental in a firing situation. Rather than being able to quickly focus on the dot or sight your eye are struggling to focus at all.It may be just a once off defect or a chronic problem. But it has to go back to which it came. Did my little 22 need a reflex sight, nope it didn't. Did it make shooting this little stinger more fun, YES!The set up was easy and i had her sighted in after 2 clips. No, in the Grand scheme of things it doesn't but in my head it makes one hell of a difference and my head is the place I dwell. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Now if you're anything like me you're looking for a dot sight that looks ... *by S***. on Reviewed in the United States on February 29, 2016* I recently purchased the "Dagger Defense DDHT Red and Green Dot Reflex sight- Reflex sight optic and substitute for holographic red dot sights” for a custom built AR-15 platform I was creating chambered in 5.56 NATO, or the .223. Now if you're anything like me you're looking for a dot sight that looks good, functions well, and doesn't break your bank account just to look at. This sight, or the model I received, is Tan metallic, so it's tan and a little shiny. Not too shiny, just a little. While the product description does not say so, this sight is shock proof and water proof. Which means so long as you don't hit it with a sledgehammer at over 100ft deep it'll probably continue to function reasonably well. I was impressed with how quickly my order was processed and shipped, and I received just a week shy after ordering. Also the same day I received my order I was contacted by Dagger Defense to ensure that their product was up to their standards, and to correct whatever issues there were if any. Any company that stands behind their product is good by me, and getting contacted to ensure their standard earns a lot of respect. For those that don't know Dagger Defense is a Veteran owned and operated company, and I was really hoping for a knock out product. So after finishing my rifle, I sighted the dot sight and let into it. To clear a few things up, this is a dot sight, not a Holo sight. So long as you retain consistent cheek placement on your stock you will retain consistent accuracy. And I do mean that. I maintained about a three inch group at 150 yards using this sight. I've put about sixty rounds down range and it's held zero very well. The sight comes with an adjustable reticle that can be switched between four different designs. The regular dot, a dot in a circle, a cross, and a hallow cross with a dot in the center. The brightness is adjusted different than most dot sights I've used, it adjusted directly on how much you turn the wheel, this I feel gives you a greater control on the brightness of your sight and something more companies should do. The reticle is crisp and clean on the lower settings but has the power to visible on extremely bright days.
