I thought this was so cute when i saw it on TikTok. In practice it is awkward to handle. At 5’3” I couldn’t see over its handle when I tried to carve the turkey on our kitchen island. I got a blister from the handle. I have returned this item

Ok. As I age (gracefully), I have more trouble cutting watermelons (our Favorite summer food). Are the skins just getting tougher? We like to carve away the entire outer watermelon shell so we have one solid naked melon. Then I cut it into large, thick slices, so it keeps longer in the fridge. I found the Mighty Carver online. It's more powerful than a standard electric knife. It was slow going, with some 'sawing' motion, but took less time and was more precise than struggling with a big knife. We have a big bowl of ready-to-eat melon that takes up less room. My only concern is the wear I'm already seeing on plastic hubs at the base of the blades, and the plastic slot into which they insert. I've only used it twice. I hope it lasts...

Ok, so I bought this because it seemed to go with our Grizwold Turkey thoughts. The look on the boys faces when their dad pulled this out was priceless. Laughing so hard, we could barely start carving the roast beast.The thing that was most amazing is that this carving knife is really a great tool. Truthfully, we didn’t expect the thing to actually work like it did.Take off the guard when you want to get into serious carving and this thing is AMAZING! Yes, it’s not cheap, but it’s the best tool for carving. We do multiple turkeys in the fryer thru the afternoon and this made our serving so much easier!Have a Grizwold Holiday!

My SIL loves his mighty carver and was bragging about it to my other SIL while he was carving his Thanksgiving turkey with "just another knife". So, naturally, I ordered him one so I don't play favorites.It slices perfectly and draws a crowd when it's pulled out to carve. I am sure it will be their favorite knife to use!
