High Quality Great Price
Easy to follow directions. This sea moss doesn't have a strong taste which makes it versatile. For the price this is the best sea moss I have tried. I pinched off a small amount to prepare and didn't realize I only need half of the amount. I will not need to buy again for at least 8 months.

Don't Be Discouraged
I'll start with my actual review and then get into the real purpose of me writing this review afterward. This is high quality real deal sea moss, straight from the ocean. This is my first time purchasing/trying sea moss and can tell how good it is already, based on what I've learned through others. I received my product in a nice resealable package that burst with the essence of the ocean when I opened it. I rinsed it in the sink and then proceeded to soak it in purified water with a squeezed lemon (didn't have any lime around). The next day, I checked on it and it certainly grew in size. I was at first discouraged by what one guide to making the gel said: that the moss should be soft and gelatin-like and break apart in your hand. Mine was still pretty sturdy, but was certainly soft to the touch, like you'd expect a soaked vegetable to feel. I proceeded to push forward regardless as I realized beforehand that there is some level of almost "elitism" it feels like, in terms of what sea moss should and shouldn't be. I threw it in the blender and poured in the water I had it soaking in til I felt it was at a similar level to the guide I was following and got ta' blendin'. After a couple minutes, I turned it off and checked it out. The consistency was all wrong, like water but with a bunch of ramen noodles floating around. So I kept on blending and it thickened up to a grainy texture relatively quickly. I noticed it was only blending the bottom portion of the moss, the top half was sitting there like a still lake and all the reviews questioning the quality of the product started to flash before my eyes as I started to agree with them. But then I put on my thinking cap and added more water, shook it up a bit to get the water down there, and started the blender again. It all started flowing like a whirlpool once again and after a minute or so, I saw that creamy yellow consistency I was looking for. I added a tad more water and blended further after that to try and get rid of the tiny bits of grain left in my otherwise perfectly smooth gel, which I was successful at. Now I'm left with some beautifully smooth and nutritious sea moss gel. When they say a little goes a long way, they weren't kidding. I took maybe an ounce or so of my 8 ounce bag and it made 3 cups of sea moss gel. This makes me much more comfortable shelling out more money for multicolored/strained sea moss so I can explore how those benefit me in contrast to this classic golden moss. I wrote this review because so many other reviews made me doubt my purchase and question whether I made the right choice, but in the end I was left extremely happy with my purchase. Ignore the reviews that question the authenticity and/or quality of this product. "It looks like noodles" it's supposed to. No two plants grow exactly alike. There are many many different strains of sea moss. "It's grainy, this is plastic!" Try adding more water and blending more and watch how quickly that "plastic" melts away. Any further doubts, you should direct yourself to their YouTube channel and you can see the source itself. This is a great company with great product at a great price. Nothing but greatness here.

This Is Authentic Wild Harvested Sea Moss
This is the real deal. Authentic wild harvested sea moss as described by Dr Sebi. It is golden in color (not pale), the stems were thin (not thick), it smelled like the ocean (not chlorine), had no salt on them was completely dry (not moist) when received, and was crunchy but not brittle when squeezed and stretched. I used the soaked method to keep it raw as Iโm not a fan of the boil method. Heating sea moss unless adding it to meals is counter productive to me. It started coming right back to life during the first rinse. After youโve rinsed the sea moss in running water, soak it in spring/distilled water this rinse it in running water again, soak it in spring/distilled water for 24-72 hrs in covered glass bowl or jar. Blend it in the same water it soaked in for the 24+ hrs to maintain the minerals released into the water by the sea moss. It gels great. The 16oz bag yields four to five batches that went into 9x9 glass baking container with a top. I cut it into 16 pieces with one piece as one serving. It lasts my family a week and is a great deal for $35 every 5weeks. It delivers fast. The ad for the 8oz says it comes from St Lucia but the 16oz bag says it comes from Jamaica. Both locations are great to harvest sea moss. Please keep this great quality Red Kitchen Sink and you will always have a customer in us. I bought another brand called Mr Seamoss, in case Redโs Kitchen Sink wasnโt the real deal, and it was horrible. First it comes from Vietnam and not the Caribbean, even though he says heโs from Trinidad. It yields no way near as much a Redโs Kitchen Sink as comes moist (not dry), full of sand, salt and debris. The debris was pieces of plastic and a long strand of hair. It looks like itโs starting to mold with very dark soft spots akin to mold. He has no social media that I could find to comment directly on his product which is suspicious too. We will use it as a topical only since he charges $15 in shipping we wonโt get back plus weโd have to pay to return it to him. Iโm not trying to down the brother but his business is not up to par and should not be supported until it meets the quality standards set by Dr Sebi and the rest of the sea moss community.

Good Value
Not too bad but was a bit tricky to prepare. Didnโt break me out or give any side effects like other brands of sea moss do. Good value for price.

Great overall health support
Always blends well. Nothing added for taste, I just eat a tablespoon per day and the benefits (no creaky joints, skin is skinning, and cuts my appetite) are amazing.

Wild Crafted Sea Moss
Update: I made a batch from this product and it's fantastic! I used maybe a 5th of the amount from the bag and got 24oz! Instead of soaking it for 36 hours as instructed, I soaked for 48 hours. Then I blended it and added maybe a 1 1/2 cup water. The taste isn't bad, it taste just like it smells, but you can just take a spoon full and swallow it and the taste doesn't last long. I've been using it and so has my dog, and it's been a game changer! My dog is almost 15, and she's been feeling much better. I'm very happy with this! I use the water I soaked it in as a toner, and it's great! Keep it refrigerated after making. Do not refrigerate the dry product. I shopped around and did a lot of research before buying. It smells fresh, is easy to make, texture it nice, has great nutritional and health benefits, and it even has recipes on the back of it! I posted a video so you can see for yourself. It's a great amount for the price, it is what is says it is, and has the instructions on how to make sea moss gel on the back. I also plan on using this for my skin because of all the benefits!

no bad smell or taste, clean and good quality
I used 4 of these, all were clean, no bad smell or taste, I tried both hot water and cold water soaking and I can recommend rinsing it thoroughly and soaking it in cold water over night as it will absorb a lot of water and get soft and will blend nicer, it is better that soaking it in hot water for 20 min. Then, rinse it again and poor boiling water over it about an inch above the moss and leave it covered for half an hour or even more. Then blend it. Start with smaller amount as it will get much bigger by the morning after being soaked for long time. I think this is a good product and will definitely buy from them again. The purple one, not so good as it has very strong smell and taste.

I had been looking for a good quality seasmoss and i can say that this product has met my expectation. Its is of very good quality and similar to that that I've purchased in Antigua.

Clean product
The product came on time. The seamoss in the pack was well packed and didn't have a fresh smell. I soaked it and the water was not dirty. Rinse twice with a lemon then blend. Good quality. I'm using it in smoothies.

Listen to your body's inner wisdom
As in all things being used for the first time, start small with one teaspoon until your system can tolerate more. A caution here is using too much, therefore the maximum I am anticipating to work up to is two tablespoons per day. There is a saying: Less is more. So use only what is necessary to achieve healthful results. Your body's innate wisdom will let you know if you are paying attention.
