Japanese Stoneware Bowls with Chopsticks Gift Set, Brush Black and White

These bowls came in a very.nice sturdy gift box. But these were for me!! I actually first saw them at my old job selling imports, but the markup was insane. I was in love with the glaze and decided I’d save up for them once I moved to a new place. Finding them here for a fraction of the price, plus chopsticks was a super score!! They are so charming and worthy of display. One of my fav purchases for my new apartment!

These are nice bowls. They look exactly like the picture. The black bowl has a pure white pattern and the other is a cream bowl with a black pattern. The feel is smooth and other areas are rough. They seem pretty solid. Not thin or too fragile. The box looks real nice but it's really only a black shoe box with a classy sticker on top. They arrived in one piece and no damage to the box. I wasn't sure about the price. I paid about 28 dollars. I looked online and Sears was selling them for 60. So I guess I got a good deal. These are a gift for my daughter so I'm not sure how they'll actually hold up since I won't be using them to know but they look like they can handle getting knocked around a bit. Dropping them will probably be a different story.

Got these bowls a few years ago and love them. They look small but they are a full serving. Only thing I don't like is that the chop sticks seems to hold in water and get ruined fast. I have ordered a few different of these sets (the plates also) and haven't had any issue with the plates/bowls, just the chop sticks.

I bought this set for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves them so much. He hasn't actually used them to eat out of but has them in a collectors case because they're so pretty

Very good quality, but a tad small to use as a soup or ramen bowl. It will hold one serving of rice. The chopsticks are good quality too. Except the small size, it's perfect.

I ordered these stoneware bowls and a few related items as a birthday gift. They come is a nice gift-box style packaging and with a couple sets of chopsticks.We did have an issue in that one of the bowls was damaged when we received it, but dealing with customer service was super easy and they shipped a replacement bowl out within just a couple days.

Been using them for 2 weeks now. Pleasant to touch and use. Seem to be pretty durable. I think about ordering more

They're a little smaller than expected.
