I’m 5’3” and was worried that it would be too long, but it’s a great length and hits me about mid-calf. I’m normally a size 2, but chose to size up to a 4 because I read some reviews that this coat is tight in the shoulders. The size 4 fits me perfectly, and I’m glad I sized up because the size 2 definitely would’ve been too tight on my shoulders. The only con with this coat that I’ve found so far is that it sheds fibers. Since I bought the gray color, this is really only a problem when I’m wearing black, but still a little annoying. The wool is soft and comfortable, and definitely warm. I am 5'3" and 165 and I ordered a 10 since most reviews says fit as expected- I expected a little bit more room in the coat. The shoulders felt ever so slightly too tight, there was not quite enough room in the chest area, and the tummy fit more snugly than I would prefer for a coat. I think a 12 would have fit me perfectly, but of course they seem to be out of that size in the darker camel color so I'll make mine work since it is so stylish and nice quality! If you are a lady who is more well endowed I'd recommend getting a bigger size just to be safe. I really appreciated that it came with an extra button for the top collar just in case the old one ever pops off. Unfortunately it came with a 4 inch seam rip right in the front of the coat.
