I'd read a lot about TPE being a good type of mat to go for and this one from Lermx had loads of great reviews and it was a good price so I thought I'd give it a try, but sadly it's not for me as it's not as grippy as a rubber mat and the quality isn't as good as I'd hoped. It feels like a more basic foam mat and doesn't look like it would be very durable - it stretches when you're in downward dog and shows scuff marks very quickly - although it's a good thickness and would be nice and squishy for any balance poses. It also slips a bit on my wooden floor, which isn't very safe. I've since returned it for a refund and ordered a rubber mat instead. If you're a beginner or don't get particularly sweaty palms/feet and don't slip in downward dog then this mat would be absolutely fine for you, but perhaps if you're an intermediate then treat yourself to a slightly better quality mat (rubber mats get my vote every time!). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good Mat *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 June 2019* Used this mat for yoga, a very good mat that meets all my needs at a sensible price.
