SUNFACE Solar Deck Lights

I bought these lights three years ago. They look and perform exactly as they did on day one. Beautifully!I consider them to be one of the best products I've purchased on Amazon, and know the seller is respectable and communicative, if there is an issue.The lights are a three-piece unit consisting of a black frame, a frosted white insert, and the solar cell/battery/light unit that fits in the top of the frame. What makes these lights excellent is the solar cell surface is glass, not a resin or plastic. After three years, there is no UV degrading of the solar panel. The black and white plastic is holding up just fine as well.+1 for quality solar componentry!I have to say these lights were performing extremely well in their third season, but I'm a tinkerer. And since the manufacturer made the AA battery accessible, I had to replace the included 600 mAh rechargeable battery, with an Energizer 2100 mAh rechargeable battery. With the original battery, charging in direct sunlight for most of the day, I would get four solid hours of bright LED light. With my upgraded batteries, I get six to seven hours!+1 for user-replaceable/upgradeable battery!My only caveat is... On the bottom of the solar cell/battery/light housing is a switch to change the light from warm (really yellow) white to the slow-fading rainbow colors, (see the red light on my attached deck photo.) I wish this switch was a "button" instead, allowing the user to cycle from the warm white color, to one of the other colors on solidly, and finally to the fading-colors option. (All solid purple or green would be cool, but the fading colors are almost distracting when all six lights are on, because they can't be synchronized.)Finally, I think I like these lights so much because they genuinely exceeded my expectations, in component quality, design-simplicity, and ease of installation. You really can buy them with confidence.NOTE: We live in a northern climate, so they are removed and stored indoors from late fall to early spring, but I assume they would be fine year round.

These lights look great and are a good value. Installation couldn't be simpler.The set comes with 6 lights, each individually wrapped. The lights are made of plastic and a single LED. You lift the solor panel out of the housing and remove the plastic tab to activate the battery. There is a switch next to the LED to toggle between multi-color or amber light modes.Installation screws are provided, but I opted to use 3M heavy duty outdoor double-sided tape as each light weighs less than 1lb and I preferred not to add holes to the fence. Only tools I needed were a pencil, measuring tape and level.I installed these lights in the winter. They have held up well through the rain, wind and frost. And even with the dark, foggy winter days they hold enough charge to last through the night.The light output is very dim, but they put out just enough to light up my otherwise pitch black walkway until my brighter motion detection lights kick in. These lights do not have an on/off switch, brightness control, or motion detection. They come on at sunset and turn off when the batteries die or the sun comes up.The first night I installed them, they very extremely dim and shut off quickly. After a full days charge they have worked flawlessly.I am satisfied with my purchase and will be getting another set soon.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m very happy with these lights so far. I was hoping for a bit more lighting out of them but given the size of the tiny LEDs and the cost I’m still happy with how they turned out. The grilled quality the material isn’t that great and the lights themselves won’t serve as anything more than decoration as they are limited in range. With that said, if just simple lighting or even if you have a small area that you want to light up, these might be great for that. I have been seeing mention of a motion sensor feature, not sure if that is with a different version as mine don’t come equipped with that.The installation was pretty simple as well, I just needed my power drill and leveler. I was able to complete all 6 fixtures in about 5 to 10 minutes, (not counting when I lost my drill bit in the grass 😭).As mentioned, I’m happy with the way the lights look so I plan to purchase a few more sets for my fence. While I do wish they had more range, I’m glad they’re not so bright that you can’t look directly at them. If you don’t expect too much then I think you’ll also enjoy them as well.

Honestly most of the time they aren’t even in direct sunlight and they still receive a charge. I’ve never not seen them come on every night when the sun goes down.- They look amazing! The color changing feature works fantastically and they look great!- I installed them about 2 months ago, and they are still going strong!Cons:- None! I was a little disappointed because I thought I’d be able to set them to different colors and have them stay that color, but the only way to make them colored is to put them in the color changing mode, otherwise they will just be white. This was an error on my part though as that’s not what it says in the description, I just assumed. I’m super happy with them though!Seriously these lights are amazing and if I had more space to put them I would purchase more! I would definitely recommend them!
