I read the reviews, did some research and decided to try this as my first cup. Tired of pads and uncomfortable tampons I thought the idea of this sounded great. Arrived quickly, everything like it should be. But here is where the problem lies....And I didn't see any other reviews like this so maybe it's just me, but this was so complicated to use! It took me 20 minutes and a Google search to figure out how to get the thing in correctly. It did not come with Instructions. You may think it's pretty self explanatory but trust me, there are questions....Anyway, the size said I would need a large being over 30 and having kids. Well I was intimidated by the size...thanks to Google I learned to fold it. Got the thing in (finally) and was feeling okay. It just wasn't really the most comfortable thing for me. Again, maybe just me. Decided to take it out and this was where it got scary. Honestly thought I was going to have to go the ER to have it removed. I could not get a hold of the stem part. Like I could hold it, but there was no gripping it to pull. Couldn't reach the rest of it and legit started to panic. I am not exaggerating it took me 30 minutes, a prayer, and lots of deep breathing to get that sucker (literally sucker because it freakin vacuums itself in there) out! Never again. This just isn't for me. Maybe it was me, maybe the product, but I felt like these reviews needed some real honesty! Good luck! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great cup, just not for me. *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2019* I'm am experienced cup user and normally use the Lena cup. I wanted to try out another one to see if there was a better one for me! I loved the blue color and sleak design. When I got it though, it wasn't really a fit for me. I don't want to retract any stars from this product, because it's honestly a really amazing cup. It just didn't work for me. The stem was a little long, but no problem, I trimmed it. I did find that the stem was too flexible and difficult to grab onto to remove it. I usually got around this by simply pinching the base of the cup, release suction and pull out in the shower to bypass any mess. Even with removing the stem, I did find the cup sat a little too low in my vagina. It seemes like I could almost feel it. What I really didn't fancy about it was how soft the lip of the cup was. It slipped a few times unfortunately. My Lena cup was harder in this aspect and I knew that it'd stay. The pro to the soft lip, however, is that it didn't hurt at all when removing the cup whereas the Lena cup can sometimes hurt a bit if removed in a weird position. Also, another difference, and pro for this cup, is the slow sloping design of the bulb into the stem. This design prevents pee from getting trapped around the bulb, to later be released in your panties. I found urine trapping to be an issue with the Lena cup, unfortunately. Anyway, to wrap things up, I still use this cup as a back up if necessary. Like I said, it's really a good cup, but it depends on what kind of cup you're looking for.
