High Quality Stuff
As as 25 year Network / VOIP engineer, I can tell you that EnGenius makes great gear. I've been using their wireless bridges on my property for over 4 years and they work rain or shine 24/7. This AP is no different. I get a strong wifi signal at 200 yards. I don't really have anything bad to say, except this is a business grade product. If you aren't tech savvy, you may have issues with the configuration. There are no setup wizards, so you have to have a fundamental understanding of networking,

Good performance, easy setup
Bought this to get coverage for several wireless devices in my backyard that were not connecting well to indoor access points. The AP works with the Engenius ezMaster controller software embedded in their EWS2910P line of switches, which I use. It immediately connected to the ezMaster controller, pulled down the appropriate configuration, and began working. Simple as that. I have it mounted out of direct sunlight and in a semi-sheltered location, so it will hopefully last a few years.

Do not purchase
Purchased two of these because it says it can be managed through an application. That is not true. The application they are referring to is no longer supported or offered. These devices have to be managed individually. There is no application to manage more than one at a time. Absolutely ridiculous that they can advertise something that is false and then not give a refund.

Great outdoor range, simple to get up and running.
Bought to cover a youth camp, set on top of highest roof top and it is doing great. Have coverage over 600+ feet away through a small tree line using cell phone and tablet. Still testing range and speeds. It does not like penetrating metal sided/roofed buildings, but not much does, signal is a little spotty in those buildings.. Water proofing seems very good as it took a gully washer the day after i installed it. Setting it up was a breeze. So far, very pleased.. Still testing...

Good quality
I installed two of these outside of two side by side apartment buildings I own. the wifi signal couldn't get through the concrete and stucco walls so I installed one in front of the building and one in back. the signal strength is excellent if you are within the sight line and nothing is in the way. I had one security camera that was 30 feet away but 1 foot around a corner and the signal is not as strong. it still gets enough signal for my needs but if you need a strong signal you'll have to be within view.

Solid
Amazing is not too strong a word. 50 years in microwave communications. I had a wi-fi nightmare in a boat harbor. levees, curved windbreaks with tight rows of trees, many metal buildings, lots of signal killing palms. Weeks of failed trials and then Asus came out with this unit and I could finally go 3 days without a call from the Harbor Master. If you're in a spot where spurious signal rejection is critical and cost is a factor you can't go wrong with this unit.

Worth for the money
I am a computer guy and I've been using MANY of OUTDOOR Wifi extender, this is one of the best that I ever use. Very solid signal, great design look with many LED indicators to tell you what's going on while you just looking at it for SIGNAL transactions. I have mounted on my TREE and shoot it to another location (about 500 feet away with one wall interference) and the strength signal reduces down at 80%. 80% to me is very good number, my other old one (WAVLINK) it reduces at 30% (it was around $100, three of them) which is I am not happy about because it broke after 2 years because its plastic material is not IP67. The price is a bit of pricey now, $170 dollars but at least I don't want to spend over $200 dollars like other on the market of which may be same performance.

Pretty good
Installed 8 of these access points outdoors. Range is decent, I wouldn't say they are great, but if you are mindful of slight overlap when installing your devices, the roaming and range is good. Speeds are good as well. I am using the EzMaster software to manage the APs and it's pretty helpful because it is not a cloud-managed solution. Unfortunately, EzMaster is no longer supported by EnGenius. Also, if you do decide to you use the EzMaster software, do not enable Band Steering, otherwise you will be capped at around 40-70Mbps. Otherwise, pretty good APs for the price and setup is extremely simple.

Like new. Still had the plastic on everything.

Works as described. Takes a bit of work to set up but once complete it works great. Very good range.

Works well, I easily get over 500ft of range with a strong signal. Some difficulties with the standard IP address provided, but once that was sorted out no further issues with initial set up. It has only been operational for 2 weeks, but I have no complaints thus far.
