Attach Surfstrand using crimping sleeves and crimping pliers or tie with a Figure 8 Knot.

I have used nylon coated wire and had problems with corrosion when the nylon coat is punctured.  I think the corrosion is caused because the salt that is under the nylon coat cannot be rinsed off. Eventually the wire breaks at the corrosion, I think because the corrosion is due to chloride stress. The bare wire can be rinsed clean of the salt and so far I haven't had corrosion or wire breakage.

Stranded wire is the way to go! The coffee color is perfect for fewer bite offs due to glare of uncolored wire

I use this for toothy species. It will kink after a fish or two, but it's cheap and easy enough to re-tie a new rig. Easier to manage than single strand IMO.
