Best overall utility knife
Nothing is without flaw if you look hard enough. I have not had many issues with this knife so I'll clue you in on my experience,Pros:- Folding Function: The blade can swivel open with a flick of the wrist and it feels solid once it's locked. No rattle and no fear of it accidentally closing on you. Retracting is just as easy.- Blade Change: Tool-less blade replacement is super easy by a compound press and slide lock. I don't often use gloves so can't speak for the ease of use with them on.- Ergonomics: This is by far the most comfortable utility knife I have used comparing to various styles of those cheap two piece utility knifes. It fits in my hand perfectly and feels more controlled in my hand. I wear size L gloves btw.-Construction: This thing feels solid. It's got some weight to it and metal in all the right places. The orange part is a rubbery coating similar to those in a cordless drill handle and the plastic feels sturdy as well. Acceptable rattle from the blade I feel as well.Cons:- Clip: This thing has been super stiff and useless from the very beginning. It lays too flat to the body of the knife to be able to pry it out without hurting a fingernail and too pronounced from the body to make it noticeable. Not the biggest deal, I've just learned to live with it. Just put it in your pocket and try to ignore it.- Blade storage: There is no blade storage inside the knife but I never found that to be a huge deal because I rarely find myself needing to change a blade more than once a day. I just flip it and boom, fresh blade. Still, no blade storage if that's important to you.-Rust: I have seen others mention rust and yes, mine came with a bit of rust on the clip which is unfortunate. The clip is useless to me anyways and a good part of the knife is made of plastic and what I'm guessing to be aluminum on the actual blade housing. Some internals in the swivel mechanism may be corrosive so they might be rusty as well so just something too think about.Overall, the knife feels well made with a few flaws that don't hold it back enough to put it in the same tier with most knives out there. The one I have is the swivel lock version, so may be prone to malfunction since it has more moving parts although it has never failed on me. For the price of $12-$15, it's a good buy since you pay for the ease of mind when you use it.

Very comfortable to use, well made
Fiskars makes generally very nice small tools. This utility knife is very comfortable in the hand with excellent grip. The locking mechanism works well and is very secure. The blade release button is somewhat finicky to release when it’s time for a replacement blade, but holds the blade safely and securely. Overall, one of the nicest utility knives available and for a fair price.

Best knife out there.
Only just got this but already know it's quality. I only own fixed blade knives on the job because I hate having to fiddle with opening and closing knives today, when you pull out your knife it should be ready to use. But because I keep cutting through knife holders I bought this, it's excellent and so comfortable in my hand.

Don’t want to be without one
This is going into a drawer incase my current one (2-3 years old) goes missing on job site. I think this is the perfect combination of convenient and rugged. Since the blade doesn’t have a mechanism to slide out or an extra blade compartment that swings or slides out of the body, there is very little that can break. The blade cover is rugged. The toolless blade changes are simple and fast and you can store 5-7 blades inside the handle. In my mind the perfect carpet knife. You must get in the habit of covering the blade. Just a push and “fling”…very easy, but something new to remember to do before putting it in your pocket or pouch.

A fine box cutter, very satisfying to use
I wanted to upgrade my boxcutter so I bought this one after reading some great review on it.I'm pleased to announce that I'm very happy with the purchase. These are made of solid hefty metal and feel nice and weighty to hold, but heavy enough to cause fatigue. The flip mechanism works beautifully. You hold the button and swing it out a bit and the blade satisfyingly snaps into place loudly. The blade doesn't wobble or jiggle while you are cutting or even using your fingers to make it move.Replacing the blades is easy enough, you just press the button and it will slap shut if you swing your hand the right way. Replacing the blade is also very easy. The price is very reasonable too.My only criticism: it has no built in storage for extra blades. It's kind of a bummer, but oh well. It really doesn't make the cutter any less satisfying to use! But that's the only reason I'm docking one star.

I THINK I love this thing
It's scary as all getout, cuz I'm scared of knives, but this is well made and gives you a razor knife that folds safely into itself and is sturdy and fits perfectly in the hand. I saw a video where a guy snapped it open and shut with a flick of his hand, and at first that didn't work for me, but I'm getting the hang of it. And I think a razor knife that can open and shut with one hand beats the hell out of a permanently open knife, especially when you factor in the ergonomics -- this isn't a cheap steel shell that you clamp your hand around, it's got a nice rubber grip and it's shaped for human hands. Not to go overboard, but, really, this is the way to design a razor knife.

The best folding utility knife I have owned so far
I have had this Fiskars utility knife in service since 1-2024 and it is a high performer! Compact when folded, easy to fold, easy to flip open and easy to replace blade. So good as a cutter that my wife borrowed it one day and wanted me to buy her one! She loves hers too. Over time the blade pivot mechanism has worn in quite well. The originally equipped Fiskars blade was fantastic. However, I usually use the large packet of blade refills that I buy when on sale. They work fine for my purposes. I suggest that if you take a sharpie or other permanent marker and mark the blade when first loaded, you can easily know which side is the sharpest and if you already swapped the blade. Nice tool that is almost always in my pocket or on my belt.

Sturdy and safe
Sturdy and safe utility knife. I liked that the razor came with razor inside the case and not already installed. The razor is sharp and you cannot accidentally engage blade.
