Comparing it to a more expensive CODE keyboard with actual Cherry MX switches, though, it feels cheap. Though, without the side-by-side comparison, I doubt I'd notice it that much.The keys feel a bit wobbly, same with the flip-out feet. Also, should mention, the metal plate. In more expensive boards, the metal plate is steel and is bent at right angles across the top and bottom to make the board very rigid. This board uses a single flat piece of aluminum. That means this keyboard bounces and slides more and also has a fair bit of flex to it.I got this as a base to mod, so some of the concerns above don't matter to me, but it's also just a good budget option and would make a good travel keyboard. In fact, I'm probably going to end up getting a second one of these to throw in my backpack for gaming on the go, so I don't destroy my laptop keyboard... again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A nice middle ground between a 60% and a normal sized TKL. *by A***W on Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2018* Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I decided that I wanted to get something that was in between a 60% and a typical TKL. I find myself using the delete button quite a bit, but I still wanted as much portability as possible, so this seemed like a good fit for me. The RGB was a very nice plus as well.Now for the keyboard itself. It seems to have a metal top plate with a plastic gloss black bottom casing. The bottom casing is VERY glossy. With other gloss black casings I've seen in the past, I question how scratchproof this one will be. But so far, mine hasn't gotten any scratches yet, so I can't complain there. The keyboard itself is actually pretty light. I would say that it has a similar weight to a 60%. I was a bit surprised by this, but I appreciate it since it helps with portability.Cable wise, this board uses USB Mini B. While Type C would've been nice, I also don't have any qualms here as you can get some nice custom Mini B cables. The cable they included is gold plated which I suppose is interesting looking.RGB effects are typical with most other budget RGB keyboards. All done on the board so you don't have to worry about proprietary software to change between colors/effects. Each effect you can speed up, brighten, dim, change direction of the colors etc. It is also possible to set each key to your own personal colors.In regards to the switches, they are actually branded by Ajazz. I thought this was pretty intriguing that they actually have their own brand switches as most boards I see typically use Outemu or some lesser known brand. Feel wise, I would say that they are actually a bit heavier than Cherry Blues or Outemu Blues. I am a fan of slightly heavier switches so I actually really how these feel quite a bit. I feel like there's a bit of a bigger bump with these switches too in comparison to the Cherry's. I'm not really noticing any scratchiness with these switches so far. They're not as smooth as Vintage Cherry Blues, but they're definitely better than Outemu Blues in my opinion. Of course, with any blue switches, this keyboard will be pretty loud and clicky, but I'm enjoying the feel of these quite a bit. Volume wise, I'd say these are in between Cherry Blues and Outemu Blues. (With Outemu being the loudest)Upon further inspection, I would say that this board is not easy to DIY switch replace (AKA hotswap). The LED is actually mounted over the switch, so one would have to desolder the LED before desoldering the switch. I wasn't really expecting the board to have hotswap capability anyways but I always like to check for this as I've seen keyboards that have this without advertising it before.Overall, I am pretty happy with this keyboard and would definitely recommend it. It feels nice to type on, and it's small, light and modular. Not quite as small as a 60% but it's a nice in between between a 60% and a normal sized TKL.*Note: I swapped my spacebar in the video as I like having logoless caps. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little mech *by D***T on Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2018* I got the ak33 to free up space on my desk and it has done a beautiful job of that, running a full size corsair with macro keys on one side just felt rediculously cluttered.The form factor of this board does take getting used to as its been a week and i still cant type without mistakes at even close to my regular speed but seeing as i mainly game, its not such a big deal. The gaming performance is great that only took about a day to get used to and not having a gap between the f keys and numerical keys makes them viable again.Keys: this is my first mechanical so i cant compare to others but i do feel a bit of play in them when they arent depresssed, however in a $50 package thats to be expected. The blue zorro switches tactile bump does feel great though and i definately prefer it to the memebrane keyboard i had before, if you do hit a wrong or extra key atleast you feel it and know to check if you ended up with an extra letter or on the wrong weapon. The blue keys, as expected are very loud... not always a bad thing i quite enjoy the sound they make but roommates or partners might not share that feeling if your desk is in a shared space. The red version might be better in those situations.Overall the build quality feels better than my corsair k55 for about the same price and gives me more space than actually needed on my desk, especially if you do the gamer keyboard tilt.
