This was a good book read it To my grandson he enjoyed it very much.He's 4yrs old learning to teaf.

This is a wonderful book. I downloaded it on a whim and I am glad I did. I read it to my 9 year old for a bedtime story and she loved it! In the beginning when Troy the lucky monkey kept doing things that were not a good idea, my daughter kept saying, "oh boy, that's not safe"! Since she is older, she knows the difference between good and bad choices but this story is still a great and fun way to remind any child to keep making good choices and to think before they act. They illustrations are beautiful and colorful! I would recommend this book.

This book is very cute and one of my 2 yr old grandson's favorite. I wish that there was a way to view the pictures at the same time as the reading page that goes with it tho. Young children like to look at the pictures as you read and that was not possible. But good story and illustrations with a good message.

(Quoting the little guy) I liked this book because he does the wrong things and he's lucky, but then if he does it again, he isn't so lucky.I liked it because he enjoyed reading the book, and it gave him additional confidence in reading. I'll be getting more of these books, I'm sure.

Our grandson is reading with minimal assistance. He likes the animation. We ready the same story, at his request, and he's needs less help and meaning of all words. We'll continue with the series.

The story was good and cute, but the pictures seemed to be out of place with the story and it advertised Prime readers could download for free, but was not the case. I decided to buy the book anyhow for my grandson.

Story is fine but, what was annoying to me was the numerous pages of self promotion by the Author. In the description of the book it stated there were 34 pages in the book which, there are. In actuality there are 20 pages to the story, 10 worded, 10 illustrated and 14 pages advertising the authors other works. All 3 paperback are similarly done. The description should list the actual pages of the story itself.

I bought this book off Amazon for my 3 year old to read on my Kindle to her. It was an ok book. There was a lot of words per illustration so she would get kind of antsy. Maybe a better book for older children.

It's a fun story about a little lucky monkey whose luck runs out, because he doesn't think before he acts. It has a bonus story at the end about a bear who wants to be king but doesn't make any friends that way, until he realises he can just be himself. My only complaint is that it doesn't read well on kindle as the words and pictures show on separate pages.

It it 'ok'. I read it to 6 children as part of a university research project and they each seemed to find the story too long - they were 4 and 5 years old (which is the age this book is said to be targeted towards). The concept of the story was good, though the illustrations were repeated which gave me the impression that they were produced for ease and speed - different pictures would have made the story more interesting for the children. However, it is decent value for money at only 99p so you can't go too far wrong.

A monkey keeps playing I safely, hoping luck will keep preventing him from getting hurt. Finally his luck starts to run out repeatedly. Illustrations & messages are clearly understood by younger primary age. Recommended

Just read this to our five year old daughter and she was absorbed by the story; she loves animals, birds and creatures of all kinds. Ideal for the 4-6 age group, with great illustrations and a flowing story.

It's free and for kids what's not to like, My granddaughter enjoyed the read and has asked me to red it more than once!
