AVANTEK Wireless Door Bell, BA-11 Waterproof Battery Operated Doorbell Chime Operating at 1000 Feet, Portable Door Chime kit with 52 Melodies, 5 Volume Levels, and CD Quality Sound

I purchased this product because I have had people walk into my hallway from the front porch thinking it was an apartment, when infact it leads to my door upstairs that doesn't stay shut. Setting it up was extremely easy, screwed it into the wall near my thermostat and put the doorbell right next to my door. I also bought a "Ring the bell" sign on amazon, perfect little bundle I just screwed it into the wall on the porch and babam, can't miss it. I bought this over a month ago, still working perfectly and it has been used many many times. I even had an officer ring my bell at 4 AM because I left my car door open, quite useful. One of the standout features of this doorbell is its incredible range. With a range of 1000 feet it allows you to pick the perfect spot within your household so when the bell is rung you'll hear it. The 52 melodies to choose from are another great feature of this doorbell. I love the fact that when Christmas comes around I can change it to a Christmas theme, and there are many more to choose from. The sound is quite crisp and clear. Another aspect of this doorbell that I appreciate is the 5 volume levels. Whether I am in a quiet room or a noisy environment, I can adjust the volume to ensure that I hear the chime without it being too loud or disruptive. Plus, the fact that this doorbell is waterproof and battery-operated makes it incredibly versatile and easy to use. I can install it anywhere without worrying about wiring or the weather damaging it. Also I purchased this on February 23rd, 2023 and I have yet to change the batteries, and it is used quite often with the neighbor's kids and other people. I have yet to have any issues, and if I do I will update the review. Overall I highly recommend this product it is extremely handy, cheap, has good battery life, easy to setup, waterproof and easy to use. Edit 6/23/2023; Doorbell still works fine without having to change the battery to this day. And again, the neighbors kid's ring the bell at least once or twice per day. Edit 7/29/2023; Doorbell still works fine, haven't needed to change the battery on the doorbell button or sound device. Edit 11/14/2023; Doorbell still works fine. Edit 12/08/2023; Doorbell still works well, it has been nearly 10 months and the battery has not needed to be changed. It is used 1-4 times a day. Edit 3/18/2024; Still working great without a battery change yet. Edit 4/22/2024; Had to change the battery today, lasted quite awhile. I only needed to get 3 new triple A battery’s for the device that plays the sound, not the doorbell button. The doorbell button is still going strong. Overall great product. Edit 11/29/2024; Doorbell still works great, only changed the batteries once total which I mentioned in my last edit. Still haven't needed to change the battery in the actual doorbell button. After over a year and a half of reliable use I highly recommend this product. It has survived cold New Hampshire winters and hot summers, still going strong.

It is as loud as the existing mechanical chime (which gets very little use because its doorbell button is too far from the door). To install the doorbell button, I taped a magnetic sheet at the back and placed it on our front metal door. Very solid, not flimsy. No issues connecting with the chime despite the metal door, although there is a 1 second lag (but a LED light activates when the button is pressed, so it helps to assure that the doorbell is working). It looks good despite the plastic exterior, not high end, but not cheap. We will have to wait for the durability of the button and the batteries. For greater convenience, I placed the chime inside the existing mechanical chime box (it required to take the chime apart to make it fit in the box, using some tape, but I don't recommend doing so unless you know what you are doing - it is easy to break the internal wires and it will void the return warranty).

This is a easy peasy doorbell. Install in 30 seconds. No wires..no big mounting, peel and. I still have the original batteries even in our cold Midwest winters! Lots of sounds to pick from. I installed it on our back door/gate. Our most frequently used entrance. Everyone loves using it. I chose the Ole 🎵 for Ole Suzzana. When I get to the door to open it many times someone is dancing a little jingle..they just can't help themselves! Super fun! Being on the gate that opens to our porch..it's often used when someone needs the door opened because their hands are full too. Don't hesitate! Great value and a bit of fun too!

This doorbell is very easy to set up and works great! We put the receiver into a bowl and it amplifies the sound even more. The bowl can be carried to the back porch, the distance reception is that good. Plus, the selection of tunes is fun and includes choices for holidays. We have been using this doorbell for a couple of years and have changed the battery once.

J’ai installé cette sonnette sans fil AVANTEK à la maison, et elle remplit parfaitement son rôle. La portée annoncée de 300 mètres est très efficace, même à travers plusieurs murs, ce qui est idéal pour une grande maison ou un bureau. Le design compact et discret de la sonnette s’intègre bien sans être trop visible. L’installation est un jeu d’enfant : pas besoin de câblage, il suffit d’installer les piles et de fixer l’émetteur à la porte. Le bouton est étanche, donc pas de souci en cas de pluie ou mauvais temps. Ce que j’aime particulièrement, ce sont les 52 mélodies différentes, avec la possibilité de régler le volume sur 5 niveaux, ce qui permet d’adapter la sonnette à l’ambiance souhaitée. Le son est clair et assez fort pour être entendu facilement même dans une maison animée. Bref, un excellent produit pratique, fiable et bien pensé pour une utilisation quotidienne. Not a bad little doorbell. I didn’t want a plug-in style because I dint have enough plugs in the house as it is, so I got this. It works well. I don’t have a big house so I can’t say what the range is and the receiver is just behind the door, but it’s loud and works with every press. It comes with a nifty little bracket to hang it up and although two screws to mount it is complete overkill for the amount it weighs, it’s nice to have it. There’s about a million tunes inside it as well, but unless you’re completely bereft of taste and decency, you’ll end up going for one of the two doorbell chimes which are loud and clear. Otherwise you end up having to listen to half of Greensleeves or Pachelbels Canon every time your positive needs you to sign for something. The outer bell push comes with a little sticky pad so is super-easy and simple to fit, but you do need to pull it apart when you first get it to remove the little plastic tab which stops the battery being pressed during transit. Also comes with the batteries for the ringer unit, which is a nice touch. Highly recommended.
