Thought my S-Pen was broken. Turns out it needed a new nib. This kit is exactly what you need if your S-Pen isn't writing smoothly anymore. Love the tiny nib remover claw.

It's a pen nib. Of all the many note-taking/art-capable laptops I've owned, I've never had a stylus tip actually *break* on me, but I found myself having to get a replacement tip for the S-Pen. This was a perfect fit.These tips come with a removal tool I didn't bother using since I had not trimmed my nails yet. does seem like a handy aid though so I'll keep it.They seem to be made of a harder material than whatever the stock tip is made from, this affects how the pen feels to use but not by too much. I don't think it'll scratch the monitor/glass. Honestly well worth the few bucks I paid for it.

If you’re getting this for a s3 pen save your time and money as they DO NOT fit.

My tip had gone bad on my original S pen and thought I needed a new pen. Instead, I ordered these new nubs. I have a Galaxy Tab S3, model # SM-T820. This nub looked skinnier than the nub I was replacing, but it could be my eyesight. Either way, I pulled out the old, worn nub, shoved this one into my pen, and I'm back in business. I might order a few more just to have backups!I didn't need the supplied tweezers. Also, the entire package is remarkably small!

Doesnt work perfectly for a galaxy note 9 stylus but it did make it useable.
