What is the difference between pga48-qtr and pga48-xlr?

I need a cable connector to connect this microphone to the machine. What do I need to buy?

What do you mean by machine?You can order this mike with a XLR to XLR cable or a XLR to QTR cable.The diference between the XLR and the QTR terminal is the connector.The XLR is a 3 prom jack and the QTR is a 1/4" jack, similar to the 1/8" or 3.5mm jack you use in you cel phone or most of the stereos.If you have a regular 3.5mm input in your stereo, mixer or amplifyer yiu need to buy this mike with a XLR to QTR cable and a Reduction Jack from 1/4" Female to 1/8" Male.All the mikes terminal are XLR Female,, so the difference is at the other end of the cable, You either use a XLR terminal/jack or a 1/4" jack.

If this works wit xvive u3 wireless?

I plugged the xvive u3 receiver into my Marshall acoustic amp and the transmitter into my Shure microphone. Works great! Very happy!
