Been Great!
I have had this on my bike for a couple of months now and love it. I do not like the usual pizza delivery top box that you find on bikes like mine, but this one sits on the back well but doesn’t destroy the Bike lines the fact that it expands means I can carry a lot of stuff, helmet or when I go to the shops easily warm bag of food. When I am running around town, it holds two disc locks and a huge chain and my XL bike cover when needed. It collapses to a decent size and I really don’t notice that it’s on the back. I have been out in rain, not heavy, and it has been fine. If I were being very picky, I would say that the zip could do with being a little bit larger and more robust, but for the price, this is an excellent bit of kit and would highly recommend!

Soft practical waterproof bags for KTM 390 Adventure
You will have to play around a little to find the most suitable location to fit the bags on your bike. The straps have plenty pof adjustment in them to enable you to get a good fit. My bike is a KTM 390 Adventure. I had to fit the bags further forward than expected due to grab rails at the back. I couldn't have a pillion passenger and the bags on at the same time. I only ever ride solo so it doesn't matter. Make sure you fit the hard plastic inserts into the bags correctly. These help to shape the bags. I question the durability of the zips. Only time will tell how long they will last. Don't overload them. The bags are waterproof. They look good on the bike. I like the reflective strips at the rear.

AVOID - Not Fit For Purpose
These bags were complicated to fit to my bike, and ended up scratching the paint work. The waterproof covers didn’t fit well and were a different shape to the bags, and so when riding in the rain the water pooled in the bottom of the waterproof covers, saturating all the clothes inside the bags. One of the clips wouldn’t clip together, and the zip on one of the panniers kept undoing itself. Luckily the clothes didn’t fall out into the road! I would not advise to purchase these bags! I ended up sending them back for a refund as they were so terrible. I know they were cheap, but I’ve now spent a bit more on some better fitting bags!

Okay bar for price point
All in all I am genuinely happy with this product, the other premium options were 3-4 times more expensive. There is allot of room in there (once expanded) to carry a weekends worth of clothes or other bits. I like the colour and design. I would have loved if it came with a shoulder strap to use if I took it off the bike. And I should have opt for a size that is capable of carrying a helmet. This bag is not even the slightest waterproof without the cover. I left it outside unknowing, in a drizzle and everything inside was damp right through. So if you have things in there you need to keep dry always put the cover on just in case… however, The bright silver weather cover is an eye sore and I’m thinking about spray painting. Or maybe is should spaying the bag itself with a water repellent treating. The straps need to be readjusted every couple of rides… they just slide loose as there is no native way of securing them. (Through it hasn’t fallen off as yet and I do carry a heavy chain in there). The straps are quite long and will fit all most every situation. Over tightening the straps as I have been doing has caused the clips on the bag to start coming apart from the stitch work. (Might be my fault). The bag is now lopsided. This is due to the weight of the chain as it sits in the bag leant to the side of the kickstand overnight in my Garrage. But I guess any non hard shell case would suffer the same faith. Good little bag. I would deffo buy again only bigger.

Quality
only had this bag a short time but given the amazing british weather i think its been well tested. Good capacity, i managed to stow some tools (tyre repair kit, battery tender and some spanners), 20 (yes 20) cans of beer and still had room left over for my hat. Installation is very quick and easy, probably took 5 minutes putting it on and sorting all the straps out. Only possible con I can think of is the waterproof cover that comes with this is a bit lackluster, I'll be using a different one from now on but even though it let some water through the contents still remained dry inside the bag. One more thing to mention (not a con as its not a design failure) is if youre on the shorter side (im 174cm) and the bag is fully loaded and expanded you may have some trouble getting your leg over, after a few uses you kind of figure it out though so not a big deal. All in all great bag, would highly recommend.

Broken in a week
Lasted maybe a week then the zip broke. Don’t bother. Buy a better one. Two stars because the idea is good and it fit some stuff in for the week I used it. But it’s not a good quality.

Good for the price
Very happy. Spent some time working out the best fixing but plenty of ways to do it. Good cheap way to have some storage on the bike for casual use.
