We live in southeast GA and although it gets pretty cold here, we have no need for a bulky winter jacket. The Oakiwear fleece lined jacket is a perfect match for our lifestyle and location. The fleece keeps my son nice and toasty without adding a lot of weight or bulk to his small frame. The material seems to be of great quality and although we haven't put it through rigorous outdoor testing, I bet it will hold its own against a kid who loves to play in the dirt and get wet.For reference, my son is 5 1/2 years old, 42 lbs and 46" tall. He typically wears a size 5t but I chose to size up in this jacket so he could grow into it. He is wearing this jacket in the 6/7 size and it's perfect. Although it's roomy on him he can still move around and be a kid. The wrists have adjustable velcro so the sleeves don't fall off the hand, and the bottom of the jacket has a pull cord to tighten it around the waist. He can easily get 2-3 years out of this jacket and for the price that is simply amazing.I read up on this company before purchasing and this company was created by a mama of young kids who understands that parents need affordable and durable outdoor clothing options for our youngsters. Judging by the quality of this jacket, I'd say she has it figured out. This version no longer has the fabulous velcro at the wrists, so it didn't work for our petite kid.Also, we really liked the old version had a storm flap over the zipper.Wish they had kept those features on this jacket. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's pretty large, but still wearable *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2017* I decided to buy the larger size because the smaller size would not have given my son any growing room. It's pretty large, but still wearable. I have never had this happen, but the jacket doesn't seem to get clean when washed. I have to spray treat to get any mud stains off. I have never had to do that with any jacket he had before. I am not sure what contributes to that.
