Lovely T.V.
This was purchased to replace my ageing Panasonic - I wanted Full HD, Freeview/Play and a 32 inch screen - all on a budget! Did a lot of research and finally spotted this one.Looks: Initially I wasn't taken with the looks/design of the feet at each end, preferring a central stand but on a reconnaissance mission to a high street retailer I was really taken with this one. It looks smart and classic and less like a PC monitor. It has a slim bezel all the way around, so although the screen is the same size as my old one, overall the TV has a smaller footprint.Setup: This truly was very simple, plugged in the leads, switched it on and it literally guided you through each setting. It was computer-like in the amount of information it needed but luckily you only have to do it once.Picture: The upgrade from my 720p to 1080p is just glorious! It is very easy to access the menus and fine tune a little here and there. If I got stuck with something (and this is normal/expected with a new product/manufacturer) I simply googled my LG tv question and there were lots of replies and videos to help. I wasn't left in the wilderness wondering how to do something! And you can also download the manual from the LG website.Sound: No, it isn't perfect - but it never will be with a slim TV. Having said that, it knocks spots off my old one and is very acceptable. There are also numerous sound settings to play with - cinema, standard, clear voice etc, so you have the choice of finding the one that suits you the best.Remote: Having had remotes where the buttons are tiny and all squished together and you end up mashing the wrong button for a pastime, I am happy to say that this one is simply laid out, good size buttons and they feel nice and solidly rubbery.Nitty gritty: The price was extremely attractive - and I think you get a lot for the money.Overall. According to LG (I emailed them!) this TV *is* compatible with the LG Magic Remote - disappointing that LG didn't throw one in every box and that it is a separate purchase but hey ho!For the money I am a happy camper!

Decent bit of kit for the price.
The TV is good value for what it is. The HD quality is good for the HD channels, gaming and screen sharing. The Smart TV facilities work well but are clunky compared to other LG models. The ThinQ is slightly misleading thinking the TV would be slimline but is in fact quite a lot of depth for a TV this size. All in all, it is a good bit of kit and does what I need it to once I had a play around with the settings. Would be better if it came with a magic remote rather than the old school standard one.

Great picture for a small TV
Found this with a good review on Which as I needed a small TV for the kitchen. Perhaps a little larger than i needed but it has a great picture. The sound is ok when the surroundings are quiet but with other noises in the kitchen like kettle, washing machine etc it's quite poor. Even turning volume to max doesn't improve it so probably needs a sound bar or external speakers. Good value though.

Time will tell.
The sound quality was a little tinny to begin with but it seems the speakers have now worn in and are producing truer sound which is satisfactory. The picture is a little darker compared to the TV replaced, so I am going to look for a brightness control. When I received the box, there was so little weight I wondered if it was empty so this set will be ideal for wall mounting. A swivel base would have been better than solid legs. The finish of the type of plastic used for the screen surround looks a little cheap and unappealing. However, all things considered this seems to be a good purchase.

Poor sound
Perfect size for the average bedroom, does everything a smart TV should do, picture is very good but the sound is not very good at all, I know that flat screen TVs are not renowned for good sound reproduction but I expected this to be better than it is, but a brilliant TV for the price, I suppose you can't have it all.

Great picture, poor sound.
This TV comes with great connectivity and picture quality. However, like a lot of flat screeners the audio is very tinny. I ended up buying a sound bar for 50 quid and using the optical audio out. I am now very happy.

Things not quite right i'm afraid
within 24 hours the volume control was unstoppable, scrolling up and down as it chose. I turned it off, the next day the volume behaved fine but the picture was all over mauve colour. Again I turned it off and back on. Picture ok but dark. that is how it is now. I am hoping its something which will correct itself. The tv I replaced was an lg 32", not smart, and it was perfect for 9 years until the backlight failed. I don't like writing a detrimental review, and if this upsets anyone, then, I,m sorry. Joshua

Smart is what Smart does....
Like the TV A lot! WebOS on this Model is smooth and quick to react. Netflix/amazon/iPlayer all seamless HD quality. I use PLEX for 4K media and via this TV its pretty mouth opening. Would recommend.
