Most child resistant pill organizers have you press a button and then you can open the individual days of the week. The problem is that a child can randomly press the button, and then the child would be able to get to the contents of the container. Or, in your purse, the organizer can be bumped around and the button can be pushed, then it bumps around some more and the contents of the pill organizer are now loose all over your purse.With this organizer, you have to push in the bar AND lift up the day of the week you want to open at the same time. A child cannot do both of these things at the same time. The organizer moving around in your purse is not going to do both of these things at the same time.These are now out of stock here so I'm going to have to find another supplier.

These are pretty good med boxes to keep your meds in, but after purchasing them I seen them about $2.00 dollars cheaper at a local Wal-Mart! But that's the way it goes on Amazon at times? The colors are nice, they just need to be a little different or have 4 different colors, instead of just 2,,,,because if you get 4 of them for each week of the month, you end up getting 2 the same color! People have been saying kids can't open these.....yes they can!! It doesn't take but a few minutes to figure out how?? As in any case remember to keep all MEDS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES!! I would recommend these if the price was a bit less!

It's a little tricky. You have to push the side button to lock or unlock the compartments, so... when I first loaded up all 7 days' worth of pills (and it's a rather small compartment--I barely got my 7 average vitamin-sized pills in each compartment), I tried to start snapping the lids shut, but you have to use your other hand to hold the side button in, in order for the lids to snap. Well, pushing sideways with one hand, and down on the lid with the other hand resulted in me spilling all the pills--twice! Now I put one day's worth at a time, lock it, put the next day's in, lock it, etc. Don't try to lock it with all 7 days' worth of pills at once! I'm keeping the product; it works, but it's tricky.

I love these for travel and to deter a little one from easily opening . It does not claim to be childproof but it certainly would not be easey for a toddler to open.... However, the purple one... the Saturday one has never stayed shut like the rest so I keep it up high and do not use it for travel... Would be a hassel to return just one... DO check each and every one when you get them.

A good size (measuring approximately 6 inches long). Feels sturdy and lid of each section are tight. You need to press the side lever for release of the lids. It is slightly bothersome to press the lever to open the individual sections ( I took one star off for this reason) The days are marked clearly. There is also braille markings on the covers. I bought the 2 pack variety color pack and received the light green and blue. Overall good quality for the price.

After reading all of the reviews about this product, I was worried that I wouldn't get one big enough. So I ordered the large. Way bigger than I needed. I think the difference is that if you take giant supplements this may be the correct size, but if you take a collection of much smaller pills like I do this size is overkill. Otherwise, the item is exactly as described & seems well made. I just need something smaller.

I've used the nonlocking ones for many years, but the top of one compartment was ripping off. Not the biggest deal but at this price point I thought I would try the locking ones, as I have occasionally dropped them on the floor and had the pills explode out, or had them open in my briefcase while traveling. This is bigger than my earlier ones (bigger compartment plus the locks) but not outrageously so. I'm sure that the locking device will be a minor issue for the life of the product, but searching the floor for missing pills is no joy for an obese elderly man either. A reasonable tradeoff. I am happy with the product, the speed of delivery, the packaging, and the price.

Product is designed for travel with locking mechanism. That's handy as with other products I've had the medications to spill out in luggage, which is a mess. The only issue might be for older folk with arthritis they might have a bit of trouble getting the pill planner open.

Well made, has lasted me several years of daily use.

wirklich praktisch und echt kindersicher!Die Dosen gehen nur mit dem Hacken auf, man verliert also keine Tabletten und kleine Kinder können die Dosen sicher nicht aufmachen. Besonders zu empfehlen, wenn Oma und Opa viele Tabletten nehmen und auf die Kinder aufpassen ;-)
