Beautiful leather! I want more...!!!
- I can't believe this is called a "scrap" because it's such a beautiful piece - the color is a perfect, a "sand" color, slightly to the warm side of neutral; it is thick, a full 1/8"; the suede side has a fine texture that's very nice to the touch, and the smooth side is almost velvety - and believe me, I am *very* fussy about anything touching my skin because it gets irritated so easily, but this feels so nice! It's also much more supple than I expected. - I was going to use this to make slipper soles, but it's too nice for that! I have to look for something I won't mind walking on, and save this for at least the tops, or for something else I'd want to show off. - BTW, the size is as described plus a wee bit.

Good for stropping blocks
High quality leather. Keep in mind however, that this is probably chrome-tanned; meaning it's not ideal for things like knife sheaths, holsters or other things in prolonged contact with metal, due to the chemical reactions which can cause discoloration on the metal item(s).I used mine to make a stropping block...works perfectly for that.

Nice quality and color for knife sheaths
This leather was just what I needed to make 3 different sheaths for a 7 inch blade. Made a horizontal, a vertical and diagonal belt mounted sheaths. Good quality cowhide and a nice color. Will buy from Dangerous Threads again!

Not as advertised
Claimed to be military boot leather, that is false... I have military boots as I am retired from the military and that is not an issued leather in the US Military. It is a nice suede however and a good one.

It was good quality leather
It was good quality leather. Hoped it would be a darker brown but dark brown dye did the job. Good product. I recommend.
