Scrap Lace Leather Light Brown Cowhide 10" X 18" Piece

So, seriously, I don't know what others might want for this stuff. But, for me, I bought 2-of them for a very specific need. I have a VERY LARGE BIBLE, that is nearly 3-inches thick. It is impossible to find a leather cover to fit this bible. Using two of these, one for the outside, and; two 4-inch wide strips off the other, I made a leather bible cover from these leather strips. It fits the bible perfectly. Then I sprayed it with Silicone Infused boot protection spray, and; viola! Weather proof Bible cover for my monster sized Bible!These are THICK, and very nice, well cut, pieces of leather. One of the ones I got had a few "stains" and marks in the leather, but; for my purpose, it is okay - because - it just made the leather look "worn naturally". If you have a need for leather, for a home project, or specialty thing, you should consider these! They are high quality, and reasonably priced.

Nice and stuff, so it made cutting and measuring very easy. Also worked nicely for punching holes and sewing. Used for pretty much my first leather project ever and it made it go well.

I'm building some bar stools with an 18" x 8" leather back, instead of a wooden back. I ordered two 10"x18" pieces first and they arrived on time. I expected a couple of thin, soft pieces of leather, but I was surprised to find it owned up to what is advertised. In fact, I was so happy with the quality and thickness of the leather, that I ordered three more - for a total of five. I haven't finished the bar stools yet, but I can tell you this isn't cheap, thin, throw-away leather, it's good quality and I highly recommend the product!

This leather was exactly as described. I bought it for use in making some paddle strops for my woodworking tools and it will meet my needs perfectly as it is slightly stiff with very little give so it will not be prone to rounding the edge if you exert a little pressure while stropping. Also, the size was exactly as given so I can make six 3 inch by 10 inch strops from it with no waste.

Made a stropping block for polishing knife, chisel, and plane blades. Works like a charm. Nice and thick and enough to make 2 large strops. I took a flat 4 x 18 chunk of oak and glued the leather to it; clamped it tight and let it set overnight to dry. No problem so far.

Flawless and enough to make a large sheath with accessory add -on. The Chrome in the tanning does not seem to bother stainless steel.

Didn't match the color pictured at all. Its a dull brown, almost a dull tan, not the vibrant orange brown dangerous threads used to provide me, so its not going to match the other sheets of leather for my projects. ._.
