So far so good. I have this sitting on the hood of an 81 Toyota pickup for the past 3 weeks in Phoenix. It has dealt with the heat no problem, made it through two thunderstorms, and has kept the battery topped up. I usually start the truck once every weekend, and let it run for an hour or so to charge, so this saves me the trouble. Easy to use, plug and play essentially, just stuck it to the hood, and ran the wires through the front grille. For as inexpensive as it is, it has held up well. Indicator light is difficult to see during the day, but works properly. And most importantly it has not overcharged, or discharged the battery.

Purchased this for charging my riding lawnmower battery, couple of years old, holds a charge but needs a boost every now and then. This solar charger is fantastic! Hooked it up for a couple of hours and mower fired on the first crank. My next test of this item will be on my project car that only gets started once a month or so. I recommend this charger for simplicity and ease of use and waterproof. Quality is very good!

I like the item as it works well and keeps the battery in my generator charged. The one downside is I had it suctioned to my rear window of my truck and it somehow was blown out of my truck. This is the third one because the other two took flight.

I have a classic truck that I only drive once or twice a month (when I actually need a truck and its 4WD capability), and living in the country that means it's attractive to wild rodents for nesting. As a result I have an ultrasonic rodent repellent device installed that really does keep them out, but can drain the battery over the course of a month.This device plugs into the power point on the dash and mounts to the windshield with suction cups, keeping a constant trickle charge being fed into the battery.Since using this, I have not experienced any battery drain and my rodent repellent device functions 24/7 keeping the engine compartment clear of unwanted residents.The only issue I've had with it is that the suction cups do like to let go after a week or so, but that's a big nothing.The panel is sensitive enough that it works just fine if there's any daylight at all --- it does not require a perfectly clear, sunny day and perfect orientation of the panel towards the sun.

This solar battery maintainer saved my battery. I haven’t been driving my car much for the past 3 months, and it’s been mostly parked. A couple times a week I will move my car so it doesn’t get towed, but other than that it is always parked. Apparently not driving drains the battery. I had to jump it a few times and finally took it into an AutoZone thinking I needed a new battery. They tested the battery and told me it was still good. The mounting cups allow me to mount it to my interior windshield. It comes off very easily when I need to drive and stores nearly inside it’s pouch. It’s been over a month now, and I have not had to jump my car not even once. I still only drive on occasion, but I’m super happy I don’t have to wonder if my car will start when I’m ready to leave. Highly recommend it.

So far so good! Using it to maintain our travel trailer battery. Works in low light conditions. Worth the price.

This really keeps my car charged up when I’m gone for months.
