"What are these? Shoe inserts for ants?"
These are actually pretty decent inserts for the price. They're good for a little extra comfort in flat, hard shoes. I think a lot of the upset reviews about the length don't understand that these aren't meant to cover the length of your whole foot. They're 3/4, not full length. They are very narrow, so I can personally only really use them for my narrow shoes like converse. But the men's version has a good width for other shoes. They do slip around since they're short, so I put some little velcro dots on the bottom of these and on my shoe insoles and it holds them in place just fine.

Perfect
Perfect for that little extra support needed in my shoes

Not full gel insoles like I had hoped.
The white parts of the insert are a soft plastic and there is a lot of pressure from that part of the insert. I am on my feet up 9-10 hours a day and these really did not help with the pressure on my heel, even in the small gel part. These might be better with flats or heels and not work shoes or sneakers. The arch support is okay (I have high arches and an accessory bone in both feet), but did cause issues with my foot anatomy, with the plastic part of the insert pressing and rubbing on that extra bone. I did not feel a difference with absorbing shock from walking with versus without these inserts. Would return, but, well, let's face it, I wouldn't want anything that's been in my shoe going anywhere. Might work better for those who are not on their feet constantly or with a more "normal" foot.

Good bang for your buck
These weren't great but they aren't the worst inserts I've ever purchased. They fit well enough in my shoes, and are easier to acquire and purchase than custom made orthotics. These are a little on the thinner end but they stay out and do provide some arch support and pain relief. They seem durable enough, though they will probably need to be replaced frequently due to the thin nature and the orthotic wearing down.

Really decent insoles for the price
I bought the 3-park for $18, and am glad I did. These are comparable to the Profoot or Dr Scholls 3/4 insoles for about half the cost. They provide decent arch support (my primary requirement) and some extra cushion at the ball of the foot for long walks. I use them in my New Balance running shoes. One of the reviewers complained that these insoles are too short, but these are not full length insoles. They are 3/4; they end before your toe area. I prefer them this way, because your toes generally don't need extra cushion or support, and these don't take up extra room and make your toes feel squished.

Good insert and comparable to the leading insert brand.
I added these inserts to my boots that I walk to work in every day and they have totally improved my comfort level. My feet feel so much better. There is less impact and shock when I walk. I could use a little more arch support, but this is a definite improvement over the shoe itself. Also, it is a 3/4 insert so it is MEANT to be short and not extend all the way under the toes. For me, I like this because the insert doesn’t crowd my toes. I tried this insert in a boot with a little wedge and it didn’t work as it was too tight. So, it may not fit shoes/boots that don’t have enough space or heel height (inside the shoe).

What arch support???
If you pronate and need actual arch support, this is not the product for you. I’m glad I only wasted $12. As you can see in the pictures, there isn’t an arch to these, where the orthotic rises up under your arch to support your foot in the proper position. Rather, there is a tunnel running crosswise under the full width of the orthotic, as if your foot needed to be supported like a bridge. I’ve never seen an arch that ran crosswise under your entire foot. If you have one, though, perhaps these are for you. That’s the least of the problems with this, however. There is no support whatsoever. They mash flat when you stand on them. In fact, I can press it flat with my thumb with very little effort, as you can see in the picture. I’m thinking the folks who like this simply need some cushioning. If you are looking for actual support, however, I advise to look elsewhere.
