Perfect fit and easy mount.
This bug deflector fit perfectly. The installation method and attachment hardware was superior to what I had before. I used the outboard screws instead of the double stick tape. Great product.

Great product but it’s not no drill!
For the 12’ Yukon you will need to install 2 self tapping screws. It’s fairly easy but not no drill. Otherwise great product for the money. Lifetime warranty and installs in 15 minutes. Looks very nice!

install was very simple and looks really good so I am happy
Arrived in factory sealed box..install was very simple and looks really good so I am happy. Make certain of the distance tolerance on the corners BEFORE you stick the tape....it may need a bit of tweeking and I do recommend using the supplied self tapping screws in addition to the tape and the little bump stops topside.

New mounting holes ARE required underneath the hood for mounting.....drill or no drill.
I didn't want to add any non-stock holes on the underside of my Yukon hood when selecting a bug deflector. This item's description states: "The AVS Bugflector II offers a simple, no-drill installation process that can be completed at home in 10 minutes or less." I believe the phrase "no-drill installation process" is misleading for the following reason: The Bugflector requires two self-tapping screws to secure each of the ends underneath the hood. I can't imagine anyone being able to drive the self tapping screws into a car hood's sheet metal without using a drill for that purpose. One's hand would likely fall off first. The self tapping screws go in okay, but I wasn't planning on having to create any new holes under my hood based upon what I read before I purchased the deflector. Also, if you don't position the screws exactly right the first time, the deflector will contact the painted drip edge of your hood and could rub against the paint over time. I think the set of little bumper guards that you're supposed to stick on the hood are lame and likely won't stay put over time when subjected to car washing and the elements. Expect to hear more wind noise at highway speeds too. I definitely do, but it’s not terrible. Other than that, it seems like a fairly decent product thus far.

100 % happy
Installation was easy, maybe 5 mins. Looks good and appears to be good quality. Thought it would make wind noise or move around. No movment at all and if anything I now have less wind noise than before. Extremely satisfied. Oh yea and also keeps all the bugs off my windshield like its supposed too.
