It was to replace my ancient light found in our upstairs hallway.When it arrived, I was surprised by how thin it was. Here are the Pros and Cons.PROS- Thin- Very bright light- Easy to installCONS- May be too bright for some for hallways, but more suitable for offices- Instruction guide has VERY poor English, but the diagrams should be straight-forwardTIPS- I wasn't used to seeing Brown and Blue wires, and after looking up what they correspond to, I found that the UK uses Brown/Blue combination wires. In the US, those would correspond to: Brown = Live/Hot = Black or Red (US).
