A great accompaniment to fish.
A tasty sauce. Perfect with any fish, but I particularly like it with scampi.Tartare sauce, is basically a mayonnaise type sauce, with added gherkins.It's thinner than mayonnaise, and with a slight acetic tang to it.Ingredients wise, it's mainly vinegar, oil, and gherkins. It contains egg and mustard.Salt is too high at 3.3%. I'm sure that could be lowered without anyone tasting the difference.Sugar is low, which is good.Overall, this is a quality product, that is perfect with your fish and chips.I hope you found this review helpful.

Is it me or are fish fingers getting thinner? See, I think I might be suffering from wagon wheel syndrome (look it up). Anyway, I digress, kind of.I was looking for something to go with roast beef, and in my rush to beat the Amazon Fresh delivery deadline I hurriedly picked this. When it arrived my wife asked why I'd bought a condiment for fish. I was confused, she was confused, the beef was confused.To remedy the situation, the following week we bought fish fingers, cheese and buns and made our own Filet-O-Fish fakeaway. It was the cod's bollocks. Great sauce, not too tangy, just the right mix, and great with fish fingers.

Good but has the jar shrunk
Good for a tartare sauce jar from a store. Homemade or restaurant versions might be better but you get consistent, good results from Colmans.I'm sure the jar has shrunk though. Probably similar price but seem to get less.
