Great price for OEM chain
This size and setup of chain is discontinued by sthil so I'd have a rough time finding one regardless. If I went to my local shop it would cost $7 to sharpen the old one, and the old one was worn out, plus 2 trips to the shop. This was $17 OEM new delivered to my door in a week. How much is your time worth while you are cutting firewood, using a beat old chain. No other aftermarket you buy is going to be a good as an OEM

Works as it should
I was happy that I was still able to find this blade for my saw. The bar on my Stihl is narrow so standard blades won't fit. Found that out the hard way. Luckily I found this and I can put off buying a different bar or even a new saw for the time being. I noticed it was discontinued by the manufacturer , so I may have to pick up another one.

It is what it says it is. It fit, and it cut.
It's a saw chain. It cuts wood.

Quick delivery for the right part
We have four Stihls and occasionally need an OEM part quickly. This was not an emergency but we got the right part and very quickly, and for a good price. Can't ask for more than that.

I understand supply and demand but this is unnecessary
Excellent product bought many of them apparently to many cause in the matter of about 2 weeks the cost went up $11 per chain so I will buy them elsewhere from now on

Goes through oak like a hot knife through butter
Goes through oak like a hot knife through butter. I prefer the Stihl brand chains over the ones you get a the big-box home stores. The metal teeth seem to be made out of a slightly softer metal that takes an edge better. I know, it sounds odd that you'd want something softer, but the cutting teeth on the cheaper brands never seem to sharpen properly after their first use. And then they seem to cut poorly, overheat, smoke, and discolor. I can always get a fresh edge with the Stihl brand chains. Also, great price and convenience ordering through Amazon, as you'd expect. Exact same product I used to buy a the little local Stihl dealer. (Sorry little retailers!)
