Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate - Up to 8 Hours of Intense Lip Color with Color Protect Technology and Exclusive Black Diamond Complex - 008, .14oz

This will be a novel-long review, please bear with me :) This is the color I envisioned for a chic rock outfit (all black leather jacket, mesh long sleeve top, shaping skinny jeans, studded leather shoes on a block heel, and a studded rimmed rhinestones transparent tiny crossbody bag) for my upcoming rock concert next month. I got another Rimmel lipstick in the same packaging from Walmart to replace my CoverGirl lipstick of a similar shade family, which is close to my natural lip color, with a tad of pigment; it looks appropriate in any setting, and I immediately loved it. The texture of the lipstick is so smooth, it almost feels like you are getting touched by an angel. The lipstick leaves a pleasant, cared-for feel on my lips, and it has a pleasant smell. I am thinking about a smooth dessert that I am about to indulge in. I hope this helps you assess the smoothness. If you are into lipsticks, there is a very high chance that this one will be your next love. The color is a gorgeous deep red, it is closer to red wine color (one of many). The color is not berry red. It is not bright. When I think about a femme fatale, old Hollywood deep red (not bright red), any evening events, retro red, Halloween vampires, etc., this is the image of the color I get. This shade of deep red will suit many people (pale, olive, dark brown, etc., with different undertones). I would encourage you to look up a comparison image of this deep red on different people to give you a better idea of how it will look on you. I would say this type of deep red would be appropriate in many settings and for various age groups. For reference, I am 42. I am a believer that everyone deserves a quality red lipstick, and everyone can find the shade that complements them, regardless of their age group or skin tone. Enjoy! Color - pearl shimmer - Great brand & the lipstick is moisturizing !! Quickly becoming one of my favorite brands. The composition of the lipstick is fabulous , not so much the color for me because I have warm undertones, so it was a little drab on me . But I’m ordering the color cappuccino, also I got the lipliner in cappuccino & I LOVE it . I’ll definitely be ordering more colors from the lipstick & liner . It’s very inexpensive, but would absolutely go up against the higher ends as far as quality . I like it better than my MAC .. just saying.

Really nice and affordable lipstick 💄 One shade was a little too orange for me but thats because im a natural blonde and cant wear anything with any orange. The darker shade though is so pretty. Its a little bit drying but its because its a matte. The nude shade though wasnt drying at all.

First time purchasing this brand and am pleasantly surprised. Very moisturizing and leans as a satin finish. This is a mix between MAC discontinued tanarama and gel. IYKYK ;) I’m very happy to add to my already large lipstick collection

I just love everything that this company Rimmel does. I’m sure the ingredients are not as healthy as possibly a more expensive product? But the lipsticks are all very beautiful colors. They’re true too their web description. Their eye pencils are better than anyone’s for a lot less money. lip pencils are fabulous for a lot less money again! I’m a very happy that I got two lipstick for five dollars. I like that frosted pale shimmery look, and it can be layered. So perfect for summer. Thanks Tink🦋

Nice color but goes on with to much light red.

Glides on but is matte and long lasting. I liked it so much that I ordered 4 more just in case it's discontinued. Rimmel is my go-to lipstick. I hope they never go out of business.

I love rimmel. The lipstick is so smooth and moisturizing. Applies easily, highly pigmented and great for everyday wear. i bought a deep red, and a more pink tone one. I love them both and they flatter my hair skin very nicely! i do also like that these lipsticks last me a long time wear wise. I apply in the morning, sweet with translucent powder over a piece of tissue, and im good until lunch time (even drinking my tea / snacking) good price too

Old favourites are the best. Excellent quality and value
