I have read great things about this study guide. I am really excited to learn more about what it has to offer and I am happy that it includes online resources and practice tests. As someone just beginning my CSP exam preparation, I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. The study guide appears well-structured with clear chapter organization that covers all the major domains. The material seems comprehensive without being overwhelming, which is exactly what I was looking for. What initially drew me to this guide was the inclusion of online resources - the practice tests and flashcards look like they'll be invaluable for tracking my progress and identifying areas where I need more focus. The preview questions I've tried seem to match the actual exam format well. The writing style is professional yet accessible, making complex cybersecurity concepts easier to understand. I'm particularly excited about the detailed answer explanations, as I learn best when I understand not just what's correct but why other options are wrong. The practice exam from this book helped me prepare more than the one I got from the BCSP. It had a lot of good information on Safety systems, learning theories, and basic math and physics needed for the exam.

The guide is easy to read and has good test options it would be nice to see where each subject corresponds to the domain offered by the BCSP and the percentage of questions that could be asked. I am also curious about the videos this email is also seeking for skills study.

I just purchased the CSP Comprehensive Practice Exam Study Guide soft cover. At a glance, I like the way the guide is organized. The font is perfect, especially for long-term reading. Sections/chapters are not overly wordy-strait to the point. The math portions seem to be spot on; it covers of the formulas and equations from a variety of safety disciplines. The author even includes key strategic study tips. What’s more? When you purchase the guide, you will have an opportunity to receive a complementary study DVD shipped free.

I have used Mometrix for both ASP (passed 1st time! ) and now for the CSP! Looking forward to passing this one, too! The bonus QR code is greatly helpful!

The practice exam in the book was much more difficult than the actual exam. To study I took the practice exam and looked up the answers. Then I made sure that I understood the concepts. Make sure that you memorize simple formulas for geometry and trigonometry. If you have done the job, a lot of it is common knowledge.

Not that impressive of a study guide and too little practice questions. Also, there are not enough engineering calculations with or with out solutions.

There were numerous spelling and grammatical errors in this book which made it difficult to focus on the material. The book is laid out very randomly and does not seem to follow any sort of sensical pattern, jumping from training to process safety to illness and back to training. Additionally, the topics covered were not very comprehensive as there were many topics on the actual exam which were not discussed in the book or practice test. While this might be a good starting point for review, I would not use this as your sole exam prep resource.
