Levi'sWomen's 721 High Rise Skinny Jeans, Blue Story, 28 (US 6) L

I have lost 120 pounds in the past two years and I'm still losing, so I'll admit I'm still a little unsure of what fits my new body and what doesn't and I probably could have ordered a size down. I am 5'3" 230 pounds currently and ordered a size 37 (20).First impression was that these jeans seemed to be well made, I didn't have any issues with weird tags that other people have had, luckily. So I'm confident that I'm reviewing the authentic product. The material itself is a thinner stretchy denim blend that is meant to conform to your body, not the stiff denim that was typical of Levi's I've had in the past so I'm not sure how they'll hold up to thick thighs over time but they are figure flattering. They are also a true high rise jean, they come a little past my belly button, of course they may come a bit lower or higher on you depending on how you're built. Either way though they come up high enough to offer that extra coverage to help hide your belly if you have one, which is the main concern for me.Now, for the two things I didn't like. One is almost to be expected since they were out of 'short' in my size. The regular is a bit long for someone of my height, though it's not so bad that I cant make it work, still not ideal. Then, let me just say, I wouldn't consider myself to be bird legged or anything--haha--in fact, I have a pair of skinny jeans from Torrid that are size 22 and the legs in those are like a second skin but the waist and butt are very baggy, they almost fall off. So I figured a 20 in these jeans would probably work fine, since in the past my experience with Levi's has mostly been that sometimes they run a bit smaller in the waist. I do have a c-section belly and excess skin from losing weight that I have to stuff in them. They fit ok everywhere else, maybe just a bit loose, but the calves and ankles are baggy and it doesn't look great. They're not very 'skinny' at all on me. I'm not going to bother with returning them I'm just going to wear them for now since they don't look terrible, they just aren't what I expected. I likely will need to replace them soon anyway but if I repurchase in the future I most definitely will take that into account and order the smaller size if I'm on the fence about which size I might need.

Regarding the 721 high rise skinnyI will start by saying I have like…4 pairs of the black (no holes) in regular length and 1 pair black (no holes) short length, two different darker denim pairs without holes also, and then just recently ordered the Medium Indigo Worn in. I also have ordered other pairs I returned so have tried on and worn many of these 721 high rise skinny jeans.The black ones I wear a smaller size than the blue denim. I don’t know why. I haven’t tried to figure out the logic behind it. But the blue are always, always tighter. Until the medium Indio worn in lolCan I just say that the “medium indigo worn in” are the SOFTEST and most comfortable pair yet????? They’re like giving them away they’re so cheap too Holy cow I have been telling everyone I know like just trust me and buy THIS color!!!The other ones are my go to Jean but I could see how they might not be for everyone. Sort of a specific fit. Oh also I never have got them when they’re full price. Try ‘em out when they’re on sale!

This Jean is so good I love the style! It makes my shape even better, highly recommend! One thing I’m not that satisfied is that it’s not so stretchy / soft as I was expected so I exchanged it to a larger one, but overall brilliant!

I work hard and I play even harder so my health, bone strength and my muscle mass is very important to me, that’s why I strive to be the best that I can be, and it shows, when I walk downtown or at community gatherings I get noticed , people check me out left and right and notice my toned body and most comments are positive, some simply tell me to put my pants on or that I have a problem and need help, so when I do where my pants I like the feel of my Levi’s, they are my best britches in my britches drawer.

Levi's High Rise Skinny Jeans are so comfortable. I love the high waist because I like to have everything covered. I can bend over all day long and they never slide down. Great Jeans!

I bought 2 pairs in different colors. The dark wash practically cuts off the circulation in your lower legs. Shrinks after washing.

They are perfect and I will be purchasing another pair soon. The price is half of the name brand I’ve been buying!

I generally wear a size 4, but ordered a size 6 as I am hoping to gain a bit of weight. However, the size 6 fits me now. If I gain any weight, I will definitely have to order a larger size. I am 5'5 and weigh 110 lbs.
