I am 5' 2" inches tall and have very small hands.The gloves are very thin, but they are much warmer than any other gloves I have ever owned, including ones with faux fur inside them.I am not sure how warm they will be in extremely cold temps, however, bc I haven't had an opportunity to test them out in extremely cold weather. They did keep my hands warm while I was outside in 35Β° weather (a first in my life). They did NOT, however, warm my cold hands up when I put them on with my hands cold (but, in all fairness, I only tried to warm my hands up in them for about three minutes before warming my hands up bc I absolutely hate to be cold and didn't have the patience to wait longer).A NOTE OF CAUTION: they are VERY slippery when you are driving and your hands slide easily on the steering wheel, so you have to grip very tight. I usually take these gloves off while driving bc of this.Fair Trade Repulica was wonderful to work with! I was concerned these gloves would not fit because my hands are so small. When I inquired about return policies if they did not fit, Fair Trade Republica offered to pay the return shipping if they did not fit! When the original pair I purchased did not fit correctly (one was way too big and one was way too small), they immediately shipped me a new pair and paid the shipping for the defective ones to be returned. In addition, they answered my emailed questions within one day and often the same day. I selected free shipping and still had both pairs within 3 or 4 days of ordering.
