Purchased this LED backlight set for an 85 inch Samsung. I wanted a reliable inexpensive LED backlight set that used a USB power source with a usable remote control. This HAMLITE product is exactly what I wanted and has delivered great performance and quality without breaking the bank. It was also super easy to install using the adhesive backing along the entire back of the LED lighting strip. It is also made to gently bend at the corners for consistent coverage. Unlike a cheaper model I purchased before and returned, this HAMLITE product works as advertised. Produces a nice ambient backlight even in a well-lit room, and really shines when the lights are dimmed. The remote works perfectly from anywhere in the room regardless if its in direct line sight with the USB module. I previously tried to purchase a less expensive USB powered model for about $12 (Maylit) and it was complete junk and returned it. I didn't want the more expensive model that used a camera that hung over top of the TV to sense the changing images on the TV to change the backlight colors. I wanted a simple, reliable, clean looking LED backlight that used a USB power source, and didn't break the bank. If you're looking for the same, this HAMLITE LED backlight is for you. Aside from other reviews, one thing that drew me to this product was the statement shown on the product site by Amazon that stated it had been returned for refund less than other similar products. This statement was in a green box with green font. I had never noticed kind of statement from Amazon before but found it helpful and after my purchasing experience with this type of device, I will definitely see it as a good sign for future purchases. I've only had this HAMLIT LED set for a couple of weeks as of the date of this review (Feb 2024) and will update my review if my experience with this product changes.

These lights are incredible and easier on my eyes at night. My grandson had them up and running in about 15 mins. These were not expensive at all. The colors are beautiful and they plug into the USB port perfectly. Be sure to clean the back of the TV exactly as the instructions request. They even provide a cloth to make sure it's clean. Then be sure the area is dry and the lights will stick perfectly. The lights come on a reel making the install much easier. Very good quality for the price.

Works and installs in minutes. Looks great and the remote offers lots of options and works well from 10-12’ away. No issues. Plugs into the standard rear USB and the lights stick to the frame of the tv rear. Perfect. Make sure when you cut off the excess you cut across the little gold lines. It’s in the instructions. Simple. Good quality.

I plugged mine into an always-on USB source, so I can use them as a nightlight even with the TV off. Super easy to install, other than the fact that it can be difficult getting your arms around a giant TV. No problems at all, but I don't like that you can't change the color temperature of the default white. Warm white would've been a nice option, but it's not available.

Very bright and works well on my 85 tv. Lenght was plenty. Remote works without any issues. Very good adhesion and it comes with alcohol cleaning pad.

It looks cool and adds a wow factor when you turn on your TV - especially in a darkened room. As mentioned in other reviews you get 4 pieces of LED strip which allow you to go along both sides (1 each side) and 2 along the top. The kit was easy to install and the remote works well from across the room - in our case about 8-9 feet from couch to TV. The family likes the ability to change the background color depending on our mood and what we are watching. Also like the fact that it doesn’t require to be plugged into a wall. Just plug it into one of the TVs USB ports and you are good to go. I used regular scotch tape to position the strips and test everything out first. I kept it this way for a few days to be sure we were going to keep them on this TV. After I got thumbs up from the rest of the family, I removed the adhesive backing and put the strips in place permanently. I bought the size that is suitable for 32”-60”. I thought this size would be long enough to cover my 52” tv all the way around, but it was barely long enough to cover the sides and top. It didn’t cover the bottom. Some people may be ok with that, but I preferred the lights to be all the way around. Sticking the lights was easy, but I did have help from my bf. The instructions said to avoid sharp corners with the string, so I curved it on the corners. Be cautious of where you stick down the sensor (the white part) as the control for the lights won’t work if it’s being blocked. I stuck the sensor on the bottom of the tv and have to angle the control a certain way in order to use it. The lights are great colors, but wish they could go a little brighter ( just my preference). I like the brightness adjustment. The flash, strobe, and fade options are nearly the same speed. Overall, it’s a decent option for the price point, but if you want something more solid I would suggest looking at other options.

This was a good tight fit on a 75inch TV. We had only a little bit of extra length left over so I am not sure how well this would fit an 80 inch or 82 inch if you go right by the edges of the TV (which is what I did). It supports a variety of colours and brightness is good. Reduces eye strain at night which does the job.

Not the best for trying to bend at corners

Wirklich eine super Hintergrundbeleuchtung. Sehr leicht anzubringen. Sieht super aus. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen. Die Farben reichen aus und sind wirklich schön. Ich habe einen 43 Zoll Fernseher und es passt perfekt.

Looks great on my 75 inch tv.Sticks really well no issues just be careful you need to bend the corners slightly when installing.Highly recommend just ordered 1 more for my 55 inch.... remote and USB works well.Looks Awsome.👍
