Overall happy. - Overall happy but cleaning of the disks is such a time-consuming task and there are several fragile parts to handle during the cleaning. I broke some part of the disk and the fan during cleaning. When they are disassembled, all individual parts are fragile and requires handling with care. Only because of this, I did not give 5 stars. If your baby is very sensitive and wakes up by very little sound, then, it may be a good choice. It naturally generates some white noise (fan noise) and you can even make it noisier (3 steps). I used this function to make the fan noise on purpose. So, while the baby sleeps, even though I make some small noises, my baby sleeps very well. After getting the LASIK Procedure, my eyes get dried easily (xeroma). I was scared of opening my eyes in the morning due to the pain caused by the xeroma. Venta humidifiers (even though they claim that it is airwasher but for me, it is just humidifier) really works for me. About the cleaning, a quick cleaning may take under 5 minutes but a deep cleaning would take over 2 hours. Not joking. But in my opinion it is worth the money and the time required for cleaning.

**Q: Is this a humidifier and air purifier**

**Q: How many hours does this machine (LW25) work for each fill of water?**
A: Depends on what setting you have it on and how dry your room is.  In my house with forced hot air which is really dry, I get about 24 hours per fill.  I believe it is recommended that you fill it everyday with fresh water so expect that at least.  I keep it on medium in our room which is 26x16.  It does a good job of bringing the humidity up and cleaning the air.

**Q: Are Venta Water Treatment and Venta Cleaner included in purchasing Ventar Airwasher?**
A: I've had one for 15 years.
Just pour a little hydrogen peroxide into the
basin after rinse...clean with same..then add maybe 3 oz to the water
Stays clean and easy cleanup!

**Q: Can the Disks be Cleaned in an Ultrasonic Cleaner, and if Yes can Someone Suggest a Specific Ultrasonic Model?**
A: We clean the disks in our Venta with the cleaning solution recommended by Venta.  We have the LW45 model that keeps 2000 Sq. feet at 30 to 35% humidity.  We have a geothermal heating unit and live in a moderate climate, although so far this winter we've been unusually cold but the Venta has kept up.

I really need this product. It has been bought from Germany and sent via the US which is the only way I can do this. I am really unhappy that it isn't working. It had very good reviews and is exactly what I am looking for.

Overall happy but cleaning of the disks is such a time-consuming task and there are several fragile parts to handle during the cleaning. I broke some part of the disk and the fan during cleaning. When they are disassembled, all individual parts are fragile and requires handling with care. Only because of this, I did not give 5 stars.
