I bought this primarily for the artwork/illustrator (and it does have a good amount of her illustrations in it). The book itself is like a fun breathless jaunt with a friend through Paris. Definitely not my lifestyle but it was definitely a fun read/different perspective.

You can read it one sitting, cover to cover, but it's so much fun, I'd plan to spread it out awhile and savor it! I have ordered copies for all my girlfriends! You very wealthy but practical women will love this, too!

For someone who loves classic fashion it was a really fun, entertaining, delightful read. What was most captivating, were the illustrations - they were simply beautiful!

Interesting approach to fashion sense but essentially for the young and slim. Good hints about hunting for bargains in recycled outlets, putting garments and accessory s together Waiting for a book on how to be chic if one is older and larger is a long one.

Much of this book appears to have been taken from titles published previously by other authors; the sketches are amusing and help to fill the pages but add nothing to the content. In my opinion, this book is not worth purchasing.

This is one of those books you read and think "That's a good idea, I must try it", but then I didn't actually get around to. I browsed through it but none of the ideas seemed to sink in, so not too effective for me.

Don't buy this book.
