Pearl Izumi Women's Infinity Shrug

Fit is true to size, with long enough sleeves for my 5'11'' frame (a rarity), very comfortable, flattering fit (despite the slightly odd look of my sleeveless jersey that pops out from underneath to accentuate my "girls" - more a factor of the fit of the sleeveless jerseys than of the shrug). I wore it in hot (73-86'F) Hawaii weather, and it is a bit hot initially,. but as soon as I start to sweat, the shrug is cool, since it evaporates quite well. I think it is cooler than wearing sweat-proof sunscreens. I checked with PI to make sure this is UPF fabric, and they assured me it is UPF 50, less if it gets wet. I sweat plenty in this, and it did a fine job of sun protection. I burned elsewhere even with sunscreen, so I gave it a really good test. This is a keeper - even if I just wanted it as an extra layer for warmth!

OMG, I LOVE this shrug. It's a lil pricey, but considering they dont make anything else like this exact style thats not an ugly cheapy one that falls apart, it's a good deal if you dont mind spending the $. Thanks to other reveiws, i knew what size to order. It runs a bit large, I'm a smedium, if that makes since. I ordered a small & it fits perfect... & if your worried your arms or shoulders might be too big, it should fit ok as long as you order the right size, since its very streachy. I dont like ordering a small in anything w/ sleeves since i have long arms, but this product met my high expectations, sleeves were long enough & it fits so cute and comfortable. I love it, thankyou!

Fits great and very practical. it doesnt have any lining so it isn't good for very cold rides/jogs but it was exactly what I was looking for on those chilling morning bike rides (40-55F) Its really cute too! It also fits nicely in a back pocket of your jersey when the temperatures warm up. I always hated the sleeves that roll down the top of your bicep and make your upper arm look fat and squeeze your arms...not attractive...so im told "no one cares" but I do, and I dont like it. Im going to order another one of these shrugs now. Enjoy!

This is actually the 2nd one of these I have purchased. I am a biker in MN and these are indispensable to extending the season both in the spring and fall - they are great for the high 50s - 60s range. I purchased the first one on a whim because I have a reaction to the silicone used on arm warmers and though this might be a good alternative. Perfect for making those sleeveless tops last a little while longer, and great for running too. Wicks well, cleans great, easily roll into a jersey pocket or tie around your waist, usual PI good quality. Strongly recommend.

I have not had an opportunity to wear the shrug but proactively purchased to wear for cool morning running as we move into Spring. The shrug should provide warmth for my arms as well as my chest. The PI Elite fabric should keep me just warm enough for my runs and not overheat. I think if I need to remove it during a run, I can easily tie the shrug around my waist - it is not bulky. I am extremely excited about the shrug and I cannot wait to try it out. I think I will get a lot of wear out of this shrug. Great purchase!!!

I went back and forth deciding if I wanted to buy this shrug, and I'm glad I finally did! It's very versatile - I wear it cycling outdoors on cool days, spinning class until I warm up, yoga, etc. It's even cute to wear around doing errands, etc.The quality seems really good, and the arms are long enough (something I usually have a problem with since I'm tall with long limbs).I haven't really used the sleeve pockets since I'm usually wearing this with a cycling jersey, but they may be useful at some point.Overall a great buy, and definitely worth the price!

This is one well designed piece of gear! The fabric is comfortable, stretchy, wicking, and just robust enough to cut the wind. The reflective design element is lovely and feminine and highly reflective. The zipper is high quality. The fit is spot-on. The sleeves are extra long so if it's too cold for fingerless gloves alone, tug the sleeves down to cover your fingers with the built-in mittens hidden inside the sleeve! Oh, and if the weather warms up again, just roll it up and stash it in your jersey pocket!P.S. Amazon's picture is a very accurate indicator of fit and proportions.

I wore this for a triathlon knowing I'd need the layers and would want to take it off during a transition once the sun came up. It does the job, and the fabric is nice and lightweight, but the zipper kept bothering me. It felt awkward leaving it unzipped, and I didn't like the feeling of it zipped up all the way (how often do you wear a turtleneck while running or biking?). Once I got over that issue, I was fine. I'll probably wear it once in a while, but it probably won't be in my regular loads of laundry if that says anything :)

...looks a lot better if you have a high neck type of tank underneath it, if you wear regular type of sport tank then it looks a bit strange cause you'll have a gap between those two where your skin will show...

Probably the best running item of clothing ever bought, great half way round a run, whip if off and it doesnt flap about like normal running jackets, a choice of more colours would be good

Ich habe lange gesucht, um ein "Jäckchen" in der Art zu bekommen. Ich bin Läuferin und wenn ich mit dem Fahrrad zum Ausgangspunkt fahre oder wenn es ein bisschen frisch ist, ist das Teil einfach genial - leicht und mit kleinem Packmaß. Wenn das Jäckchen zu warm wird, lässt es sich leicht um die Hüften schlingen und man spürt es fast gar nicht.

Very pleased with this, I used to protect from the chill but also from the sun. The neck is not tight and it is easy to take on/take off. I recommend it.
