The ZUMWax Rub-On Ski/Snowboard/Nordic Wax worked surprisingly well and is so convenient to keep in a jacket pocket or ski bag. It was super easy to apply on the go and gave my skis a noticeable boost in glide without needing a full hot wax setup. Perfect for quick touch-ups before a ski day or when conditions change unexpectedly. I also liked that it didn’t leave a huge mess and lasted longer than I expected. Definitely a great little product to have around for skiing or snowboarding — 5/5!

As a skier in the PNW, we deal with high moisture content snow a lot. Moisture grabs skis and makes them want to stick, and wax makes an incredible difference in how the skis glide. As someone who has hot waxed hundreds of times, I can say that this rub on wax is incredibly effective and convenient. On two consecutive days of skiing at Crystal mountain, WA at near freezing spring conditions, I went from grabbing badly (before application) to sliding smoothly by applying this to my skis...having to stop myself from sliding in the lift line on low grade. Purists will laud the value of hot wax that penetrates your bases, but at a molecular level, the ONLY thing that is important to reducing friction is that there is a hydrophobic barrier between your ski bases and the snow, and this wax provides that barrier. It's also incredibly easy to apply. You do NOT need a thick layer...just "crayon" it on your bases. Then use the cork applicator cap to smooth it out. It literally takes like a minute per ski. If you have a horsehair brush (or even microfiber cloth), it will smooth things out even further for a near perfect finish, but this isn't necessary for a good application. For next to zero effort you can go from grabby skis to smooth sliding - no brainer here...just get this stuff.

This is my first time using this wax. Not a bad product ! Takes some time to apply though… definitely cheaper than having someone do it for you or a hot wax kit. The cork top is suppose to spread it around the board evenly but gets caked up really quick, I did what I could, but eventually went out and grabbed a polishing pad and a drill and spent a good 15 min buffing out all the high spots. If I didn’t have the drill who knows how long it would take. Sure, I might of put an excess amount on, but still, I can’t see that cork buffing pad last more than 1 time use. Definitely worth the price and to throw it in your pack for emergency!

Smells like a chocolate factory. The wax goes on easy and the cork REALLY HELPS work it in. I don’t think you really need to wipe off any excess. This wax works. How long it works, though, is up for debate - but I ski first chair to last. It’s definitely a touchup applicator for spring condition days or when you haven’t been to the shop in a while. It doesn’t replace a professional hot wax application from a ski shop, but it’s still good to have on you. I would buy it again.

I had a last minute trip planned with some of my friends to go snowboarding and was kind of in a tough situation. My board hadn't been waxed in a long time, and the last mountain trip I had stripped all of the wax off my board and even damaged it quite a bit since the terrain was rocky. Last minute, of course, meaning I didn't have time to refer to my usual means to get it done. I was skeptical that this little tube could do what I needed but it was my *only* hope. It came the day I was leaving, thankfully. I took it to the mountains and was able to use it the day before we hit the slopes. Imagine my shock at seeing that this small green tube of wax completely got my board in perfect shape in a matter of like 30 minutes. I didn't need to heat the wax at all, either. I just cleaned the bottom of my board and rubbed the wax in, then I used to the cork to buff it out. I'd argue that an amazing, 5 star product is all of these things: fairly priced, relatively simple to use, and absolutely effective at what its intended to do. This product meets and exceeds all of these categories. I would recommend it to anyone.

Works well, but the push up feature for the wax doesn't hold it in position so after a while it becomes tiresome to use. I maintain several boards and skis, so probably only good for one season with 5-6 outings. Overall, probably will buy something different next time.

Plenty of wax to last for a long time, easy to apply as well. Packable to wax before your next trip

Apparently works well on my downhill skis, fish scaled (“no wax”) cross country skis, and on the outer two thirds of my classic wooden cross country skis. I’m no expert or racer, but it’s easy to tell that the glide is improved. And this shape is easier to hold than the typical little blocks sold in ski shops. (It also helps to put a cylinder behind the wax to serve as a piston when applying the wax.) I use this wax only for temperatures above 10 degrees Fahrenheit, since I have a polar glide wax for colder temps in which all-purpose waxes do not work as well.

Lässt sich super mit und ohne Hitze auftragen. Mit Hitze ist meiner Meinung nach deutlich langlebiger auf der Lauffläche.

Easy to use and works great on cross country ski

This stuff is awesome. Takes less than ten minutes to apply and buff off. Really helps boarders to glide through the flats and increases your speed. I used it in the French Alps in Feb and I highly recommend you keep a stick in your backpack. Fabulous product to use if you can't hot wax.

Einfache Handhabung, guter Geruch und hält gut auf dem Brett für einen Tag ... alles in Allem würde ich es immer wieder kaufen denn ich bin zu faul zu bügeln ; D
