Best Tape Ever
I’m a new PM. This tape makes me feel and look like not a new PM. You, your team, and your boss want this tape. The magnet is a game changer and the thick letters leave me wondering how I ever got measurements before.The weight of the tape makes it feel nice and sturdy, I wish the tape measure itself was a firm 3” rather than 3 1/8” but that’s typical and clearly marked.Size fits right in my bigger palm.The design is great given the sturdiness and larger lettering with a magnet to help hold in place on solo jobs. Great utility and tool to have.Good bang for buck - but check Home Depot for a 2 for 1 sale that occurs every once in awhile…

Awesome magnet for extra help
I love the Stanley fat max tapes, and the strong magnet on the end help me when I use it by myself. The past 25 years I've had only this tape measure.

This right here is strong and works very well.

good measuring tape.....
Packaging is very very hard to remove, the worst I've ever opened they should change that. Tape is sturdy, a little heavy, locking button was hard for me to push. Put a little Vaseline & oil on it with a Q-tip, slides easier now.

Not the tape measure your used to
They don't make them like they used to. I agree with the other reviews saying the tape is flimsy, definitely made of a thinner metal now. They actually relabeled the packaging to say that it only has an 11' standout compared to the 13' standout that made the FatMax famous. The end of the the tape curls and falls over as well when you extend it out. Unfortunately, this is still probably the best tape on the market, but certainly not as good as the older ones...

New design falls over alot, Not worth the extra cash!!!
Clunky, new clip sucks, broken metal around the 4" mark from closing in less than 90 days! Previous fatmax style is preferable!
