RYA Knots, Splices and Ropework Handbook

The collection of knots is good, but the explanation of workflow for tightening and splicing is unclear and confusing. Would not recommend this as a main book on knots.

If you want to be able to do the knots needed for sailing and the RYA syllabus this is the book for you, i has all the knots you need to know and it explains the in a easy to understand way.Most of the knots are available on the web and YouTube, but if you want a handy concise reference available where ever you are get this, if not you will find the information across multiple sites.

East to follow

We bought this for my wife to learn basic sailing knots. Book is far too advanced for that purpose and not so easy to learn. One day she may aspire to more sophisticated knots and splices but not at the moment
