PACKAGING Loved the slim, space-efficient packaging. The Buffy comforter comes in a simple, cardboard box much like a pizza box. Inside, the Buffy is vacuum sealed, so you know that you’re the first one to come in contact with it since the factory and that it hasn’t been rubbing around against the inside of the box. Cute designs on the inside, too! MATERIAL The comforter itself feels so lush once you take it out. The outer layer is incredibly smooth and makes you want to bury your face into it. It was able to “decompress” and usable almost immediately. I fanned it a couple times to give it some shape. SLEEPING I would call this a medium-weight comforter. In the coldest of winter nights, unless this thing is wrapped tightly around your body, I would not count on it keeping you totally toasty. That being said, this is what made it perfect for me - I run hot and the Buffy really does somehow have a “cooling” effect to it. My heat is able to escape, the temperature of the comforter itself is well-maintained, and I don’t sweat! All in all, this made it a big winner in my book, even beyond the soft luxuriousness of it. ENVIRONMENTAL FEELS Lastly, I really love that Buffy has gone out of the way to use sustainable materials to make their comforter. It shouldn’t be a reason alone to buy it, but the fact that they can construct Buffy to this level of comfort with the use of landfill bottles makes me feel good about myself and my purchase decision. Definitely the right product for someone looking for a suuuuper comfortable mid-weight comforter. They live up to their promise!

I've been using this comforter for four nights so far and been loving it. It’s stuffed really full and feels like a quality comforter. And the filling is quite dense, meaning the blanket is heavy and helps me doze off quickly. I love that it’s sustainable and made from recycled materials. The antimicrobial materials are a bonus as well. The sides of the comforter are gusseted with about an inch of material, which I think will increase the long-term durability. I think it’ll also prevent the bunching of stuffing within and avoid the “empty edges” effect I would often experience with my non-gusseted down comforter. It doesn’t seem quite as fluffy as my previous real down comforter, but perhaps it hasn’t fully expanded out of the box yet. It is, however, definitely fluffier and heavier than the down alternative comforters I was using previously. And because it’s thick and heavy, it stays in place during use. It doesn’t get all bunched up on the bed when my wife starts kicking at night! I can’t really speak to the cooling properties of this comforter because it’s been rather cool (50s) the last few nights I’ve been using it. But I can very confidently say that it’s kept me warm and snuggled. It hasn’t overheated but it’s really kept me at just the right temperature to sleep soundly through the night!

This is the second one I bought for myself. It’s my very favorite blanket. The other one I had since 2019 and I used it every day. Even when I bought really expensive comforters and nice ones for decoration nothing is like your buffy. I bought several for other people as well as gifts.

So first off, despite my low rating, this is a very quality product. It has a very classy aesthetic, looks and feels luxurious. I was sold on it, as it claimed to be a "cooler" sleeping comforter. DO NOT buy this unless you are someone who finds yourself on the cooler side, maybe even often cold, or chilly. As a hot sleeper, I roast under this thing. As in, I have to put a towel down even fully nude. This is living in Montana, where night lately have been 20ish degrees. No heat on, house frigidly cool - sweating buckets under this. I read other reviews where hot sleepers were also very disappointed with their purchase. It's doubly frustrating because this is a really beautiful, comfy, cozy comforter. Almost cloud like. I wanted to love it, I've given it months to adapt to. I return date ended in June in fact. What you need to realize first and foremost, only the outer shell of this comforter is composed of Eucalyptus fibre. The inside filling is all recycled, bpa-free plastic. On top of that, it's dry-clean only as it's rather large. A white this pristine gets dirty very easily, so be real careful if you have small children and/or fur children that love to invade your cozy bed. TL;DR: I can honestly say, this is the hottest sleeping comforter I've experienced. Even compared to heavier comforters. However, it would be a luxurious slice of heaven for someone that finds themselves cold often, I mean that sincerely. It's a beautiful product, well made and just pleasurable to use. As a hot sleeper though, I have literally sweated so much I wake up from leg cramps in the night. But I'm too stubborn not to use something I paid a decent chunk for.

Write up description says the duvet is washable, yet the care tag on the duvet says Dry Clean. I have asked for clarification from the company but have heard nothing back. Misleading description!

This item says it's made in the USA but it was shipped from India. There are no labels of any kind on the product or the packaging. it came wrapped in a vacuum sealed bag and when opened and unfolded, we found live brown ticks. I believe this product is fradulent. I ordered it from Ontario, Canada - don't know if an American would have the same issue.

Lovely but the king size is too small. We have a normal king bed and me and my husband are constantly sleeping half covered. Very annoying. I returned it. Too bad, otherwise it’s wonderful and not exactly cheap.

Weren’t upfront with the total cost of this product!

I was looking forward to trying out the new duvet as the reviews were positive. I did find that it was light and cool at first....but after awhile I was getting hot and didn't experience the breathing effect..!! It maybe better for the winter more than the summer.
