It’s been a huge hit with the kids and their friends during hot afternoons, and we’ve even started using it for weekend get-togethers. We’ve tried all kinds of syrups, and it holds up great with everything from classic cherry to mango chamoy.What I really appreciate is how sturdy and well-made it feels compared to others I’ve tried in the past. Such a fun machine! Kids love it and easy for them to use. Does a great job. It's size is good. Takes as much counter space as a four slice toaster, just taller. Ice texture is great.

Perfect for the kids! Great way to make a nice treat to help cool the kids down during the hot summer days. My kids are able to use it even to sell snow cones and make a little extra money. Perfect size, works great, easy to clean, inexpensive, and easy maintain. Not that loud when using it and makes for the perfect texture needed for a perfect snow cone.

This snow cone maker works well however, it is very noisy. If you are sensitive to loud sounds, this might not be the product for you. Otherwise, it works really well. This product works best with the long, thin type of ice cubes rather than traditional ones. When I used traditional ice cubes, it would get jammed. The longer pieces of ice slide right in and don’t clump together like their others. I love the nostalgic look of the old classic red snow cone machines and it has a convenient door on the side to make scooping the shaved ice easy. It comes with two reusable plastic snow cone cups but I purchased paper ones separately that fit nicely in the tray on the front, giving it an added nostalgic feel. It came with small bottles of flavored syrup that taste great! The only downside is the noise level when operating. Otherwise, it is a great product that is a lot of fun.

First off, I've gotta say that I love this product. It was loud, but not so loud that it woke my 2 year old up from his nap. It looks cute and made beautiful snow fairly quickly.Just a couple of cons that are more personal preference than actual cons..1. The machine starts shaving the ice when you twist the top into its lock position. There are no buttons or switches, it just automatically starts crushing. I'd prefer it if there were a switch to turn it on once the lid was in position because my kids always want to help, and they can't put the lid on themselves.2. The chamber to put ice in can only hold about a cup of ice at a time once the lid is on, but the chamber for snow can hold quite a bit more shaved ice than that. This means that I have to keep opening the lid, adding ice, and closing the lid to make more than one snow cone. It's not difficult, just a bit annoying.3. The door that opens for you to scoop the ice shaving from the chamber isn't very big. It's fine for putting the scoop straight in and pulling it straight out, but it makes it a little tricky to get the ice out of the corners and in front of the ledge just below the door because to do this, you need to turn the scoop sideways and it's tight quarters.All in all these are really picky complaints. Welove the snow cone machine and are happy we purchased it.

We LOVE this snow cone machine! I bought this to have some fun with my 4 grandchildren and it did not disappoint! It is extremely easy to set up and use. It shaves ice perfectly and makes filling a total of 8 cones within just a few minutes a breeze that it was a complete hit at the cookout this weekend. It is very easy to clean and so cute that it will stay displayed on the counter for the summer because I know it will get a lot of use especially here in Florida.

Our first one was DOA. So re-ordered one a couple weeks later in the hopes of getting a different manufacturing batch. My wife and daughter love it. I do have a couple of words of caution for the unknowing user.Standard ice cubes will not fit well into the fill spot as the cubes cannot get down to the blades very well. If you are using ice from your refrigerator's ice dispenser, make sure to use the crushed ice option (or as small a cube as possible). You will be a better snow shaving with the smaller ice options.The image shows two snow cones in a tray in the front of the machine. At least on the machine I received, the snow cones came with foot stands to hold up the snow cones. Unfortunately, those foot stands do not detached and are too big to fit into the tray provide. The feet are a great option, especially when your kid needs to put down the cone and come back to it in a few minutes. They just don't fit into the pre-designed slot the machine tray provides. So don't be alarmed about it.
