Epic! Solid on my air vent. Love the feel. Build quality is solid. The auto clamp when a wireless device is placed in the cradle works very well, nice touch. Doesn't feel flimsy either. Type c cable is excellent quality. Not plastic so really durable. £20 is a steal for this. Well happy! Nice work. FYI this is a genuine review!! Ha! Just read it back and it sounds sucky... honestly though cool product. Got the s10+ with it.

So annoying that it only works when connected to power so if you turn your engine off at the end of the journey, your phone is locked. Also sometimes it randomly opens up on its own while you’re driving so your phone is in danger of sliding off and breaking face first. I couldn’t be bothered to go through the return process. With so many finicky bits. Would honestly not purchase again, it’s too much hassle as a driving companion. Anything can happen, depends on the day I guess. Good luck, you’ve been warned.

This product is really good and well built as well as easy to install and use. The only problem I have found is that with s start/stop engine when the start/stop feature kicks in at traffic lights the clamp opens and the phone falls out of the bracket unless you remember this happens and hold the phone in place while closing the clamp. Not helpful as this means taking hands off the steering wheel.

The clamp at the back has big holders that didn't fit everywhere in my car but the door side vent since my car has small vents. Other than this,it works perfectly and respond well to touch.

Awful product... just dont bother.. it slumps down when you put a phone in it meaning you cant see your phone screen when driving, it doesn't feel securely attached to the air vent and constantly wobbles and finally I wouldn't dare use it on an air vent next to the window as every time you stall the car the mount opens and your phone flies across the car and into the back seat.. I hate this product and it will be going in the bin!

I bought this because my brother has one, and he loves it. My first impressions were great; it is sturdy, very simple to clip onto your grill, and very convenient. As soon as you put your phone in the cradle, it automatically clamps it securely. You can then tap the base (as per the video) in order to release it again. It also charges really well, so is perfect for using satnav on your phone without draining the battery. For the first few weeks, I was very impressed with it. However, after a while I found the release mechanism would randomly kick in while I was driving. This is annoying, to say the least, particularly when you're using your phone for navigation and it suddenly drops to the floor. Weirdly, though, I found that if I plug my phone using a different cable, rather than charging it in the cradle, this never happens. I therefore now use this as a cradle only (which it's still very good for), and use my normal charging cable to charge it. Obviously this is less convenient. I'm still somehow fairly happy with this, even though I'm not getting the full benefits it promises, as it looks good and is sturdy, so I feel three stars is appropriate.

I like this charger holder, I've it just over a week now. It stays in position while driving, i have the samsung note 9 which is pretty big but it holds it secure no problem, i love the touch & release mechanism. All in very happy & would recommend.

Having purchased a similar product from a different manufacturer - I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality, ie it's very good. The mounting clip to the air vent fits very securely with minimal wobble (unlike other mounts I've tried). You have to press a button (at the rear) or the metallic mount at the bottom to release the securing arms for the phone. When you place the phone in the mount it automatically retracts the securing arms to hold it in place.
