Best Lump Charcoal I've ever used.
Stumbled into this lump charcoal in my grocery store years ago. If you are grilling where high heat and a clean burn matter, this is absolutely it. Bag contains actual pieces of the tree in a variety of sizes. Burns hot so if you are looking to seer meat, this will do it. But you can control it if you find you need to. And the end product is a super clean white ash. You will get virtually zero residual on your food.

Nice big chunks
Really nice quality lump charcoal. Large chunks make it last longer, and it's great for my Big Green Egg. I bought it at Whole Foods for a lot less than it is priced here... $11 or so for an 8.8 lb. bag.

Don’t buy
Horrible to use and makes food taste terrible.

It's ok
It was ok, the chunks were so big not like what i usually buy. I only bought because stores were out and I needed for some cooking I was doing. Probably won't buy again.

Takes forever to heat- I've been at it for 45 minutes and temp slightly over 250
I sure hope my food tastes good after waiting so long to cook it. Took forever to get the chunks hot enough to actually cook anything. It has taken 1/2 the bag to cook two burgers- not a good value at all. Won't buy again.

Use with a chimney.
Stay away from chemicals.

Two big lumps and a bunch of dust
This stuff is awful. There were no lumps just tiny pieces with loads of dust. Won't be buying this again. The lumps that I did get out of it only got the grill to 375. Junk.

Not a fan
Nope. Bought this at whole foods after the decided to stop stocking their own generic which was far superior. This stuff takes forever to light, often doesn't catch, and burns through quickly and unevenly. Won't buy it again. The second star is solely for being natural.
