I like to go fishing with my friends. They are professional and have different fishing rods. I used to borrow their fishing rods when I go with them. Since I start to go fishing frequently, I think I need my own tools. I like this combo. The 2.4 meter rod is long enough for me. We go fishing on the pier and the rod is easy to use. The box has everything I need such as different sizes of hooks, the baits and the fishing lines. So I don't need to worry about missing anything. The rod is light weight but sturdy. The combo comes within the black bag which is portable. I just bring the bag in the car and assemble it later. Nice combo for beginner like me!

Great compact package for the traveler. My grandson needed a pole and reel that he could pack in his check on bag flying to Florida. He said it worked great after getting there.

My son was pretty excited about this! However the reel didn’t work right, when you reel it backwards it doesn’t stop and all the line flew off! My husband took the reel apart and found a spring or something to fix. All’s well that ends well I guess. However, we are stumped as to what these two parts are in the picture? The black ring and red and black plastic thing? Anyone? Thanks!

This is fishing rod set is awesome, It comes with everything you would need for fish. Very nice rob and reel and Easy to install it. Lightweight And good quality with the price is not that expensive. Well it's good For the Beginners. But if you are already fishing as a hobby. I would recommend getting lures and hooks. The whole package is compact very easy to travel and store. I like so much.

Looks great outta the box and works well but make sure to over all the screws with lock tight as mine fell out first day using the pole along with the eyelet tip coming off. Glued eyelet back on and then pole top broke somehow without even catching anything. Coulda been my fault but for all of this to happen on day one of using kinda sucked.

Nice fishing combo kit for the beginner who like to fish. It comes with nice bag, and it is convenient for travel. The rod is nice sturdy and smooth. The combo has everything I need when I am go to fish at first time. It brings many fun for me. Also, it has nice price for me which I can affordable.

I should've known the price was too good to be true. I bought this as a quick alternative to a regular fishing pole right before a camping trip with some buddies, and this ended up being a pain in the butt. It's extremely difficult to figure out first of all, and no instructions were included. Also, the quality just wasn't there. It broke after a few casts, and couldn't hold any sort of weight. It does expand quite a bit, but that's the extent of a positive review I have for this rod. In my opinion, spend a little more money and get a higher quality rod.

I’m relatively new to fishing and this is a great starter pack. It comes with a compact case that allows you to easily carry everything. I think this is a great purchase for someone who is starting out fishing but doesn’t know what to buy. Shipping was super fast and everything came intact. This is a great Christmas gift for anyone interested in fishing. Can’t wait to get out there and use it again!

Works great. Only issue is the fishing line is not tight and keeps unwinding and tangling. Works better with a thinner line that doesn’t get tangled
