I am finding little brown flakes/specs in the mac and cheese when cooked. I believe it's the noodles and not the sauce. What's up with this?

Any answers? I just found the same thing for Annie’s Grassfed mac n cheese...not entirely sure why this company is not addressing the issue. They are hard and don’t break up easily. I stopped us from eating more once I noticed it wouldn’t break up so likely not pepper...

Are these lactose free or close to lactose free (if made with non dairy milk)?

As for Lactose I have a tip. The box says 4 sugar grams, that is the Lactose. On any cheese, milk etc... look at the sugar grams. If a cheese has 0 sugar grams then it is OK to eat. 1-2 can be tolerable. 4 and above you are living dangerously. The number of sugar grams is usually indicative to lactose. Oddly half and half milk is usually 0 sugar grams when any percentage regular milk is 12. We cannot tolerate regular milk but have half and half with our coffee with absolutely no issue. Most aged cheeses are 0 grams, processed cheeses are horrible. You can Google more info on this. BTW this particular product is nasty taste wise IMHO. I hope that helps!!

So I ordered the 12 boxes of gluten free cheddar Mac and cheese and the boxes delivered look similar but have more fat and sodium listed

Don't buy it anymore.. They should refund you!
