Bye Bye Thunder Thighs: The Weight Loss Diet Plan for Pear Shapes

Informative, but terribly difficult to follow/maintain diet
I really liked the scientific aspect of this book. The part i didn't like was the diet advice... It's horrible. For some it may work, but ultimately it is WAY too restrictive. Plus fake (vegan) cheese is just disgusting. There's no way I could ever follow it. The main good thing I got out of it was to stop running and start walking to not build big muscles, if you are a girl with that issue.

Good book that explains what you should and shouldn't eat
I really enjoyed reading Bye Bye Thunder Thighs. My thighs and arms are the parts i have trouble with the most. It's frustrating when you try so hard and don't see results, which is why when i saw Camille Hugh's books i was excited to learn what food's are good and bad for slimming down. There are a lot of conflicting opinions and fitness trainers often tell you to eat following the food group recommendations or foods which feed the body/muscle but it only results in muscle gain (i personally don't want that). I am really hoping that this works. Oh and the best part is she provides us with recipe ideas so that we don't have to eat bland boring food.

Couldn't give the book 0 stars
I wouldn't bother with this book, by the time you have finished reading about the author you will be fed up and not want to entertain the rest of the book. The advice given in the book is more common sense than anything and to be honest it seems more like an advert for her other book, don't worry, she'll mention the title more than enough times.

Not life changing
Personally I had to stop training and cut protein to lose a lot of muscle. All my life I wanted to be skinnier so I overtrained and did high-protein-low-carb. Ended up just being bulky with still some fat in my midsection. Now I basically only eat carbs (dream life I know) and just walk a bit or nothing at all. I'm 26 so it's ok, considered i probably trained in the previous years an amount ok for the rest of my life 😂Tracy Anderson Method occasionally, to get slimmer muscles but keep the tone. I live by this now and I'VE NEVER EVER BEEN HAPPIER

Old method for weightloss and a lot of useless chatter to make the book longer
A complete waste of money from my point of view. The book is written using too big a font, there are many spelling mistakes, the author writes repeating the same sentences many times, it's kind of annoying after a while, it looks like she's trying to make the book look bigger while she doesn't have much to say afterall. The method she promotes is the "counting calories" one which is pretty old nowadays. Whenever she can she puts an ad where she suggests buying her other books. To cut it short, she says you need to eat less and exercise more than what you eat. You need to eat vegetables and fruit and leave all the rest. She is demonizing food and promoting a diet that can't work and is not healthy in the long term.
