beautiful! It's the kind of book I just leave around and dip into for a boost of refreshing inspiration. The poems are varied and well chosen by Roger Housden I am a fan of his other compilations too. I recommend his books as a great way to become familiar with a variety of poets and poetry and begin to identify the ones that really sing to you. It makes a great gift as well.

I have been feeling rather low over the past few weeks and bought this to cheer myself up. Roger Housdon does a great job putting appropriate poems together - I have several of his collections and I love them all. I recommend having a browse through them and choosing one for whatever is your current situation.

Roger Housden has a gift for selecting and analyzing poems that resonate with the deep realization that we all experience the same wonderings about life, no matter what time period we are living it. Excellent!!!

A really, really beautiful book. whenever I need a pick-me-up I randomly open a page and like magic there are some uplifting words that seem like they've been written just for me. Highly recommended!

I haven't begun to spend time with this beautiful book as yet but, I expect it to be of the same high quality as Roger Housden's other books. I find that these lovely editions need quality time and, having got three of them together, cannot be rushed.

Beautiful poems to ponder!

I love the collections of poetry put together by Roger Housden and this one is no exception. However, it does not match his Risking Everything, 110 Poems of Lover and Revelation. This book I return to an a daily basis. Try this one first.
