I needed something thin and washable to protect furniture...I'll explain. I home board small dogs and, when I have a guest, have sheets and throws that I use to protect my sofa / chairs - and need things that I can chuck in the washer on a regular basis.Some areas (like a footstool) need something a little more robust as certain little tykes are prone to taking running jumps at them. Which is where these rugs come in.I've had some plain, white, cotton ones for a couple of years but they are finally looking like they might unravel a bit - through all the washing. Would have liked these ones to have been plain - but they're ok for short term usage.The wash nicely and are well made. Colours didn't run on a hot wash.

This is a nice rug. It's a good size, the weight of the fabric means it should last, and it washes nicely. It retained its shape even after being in a tumble dryer. I have two, one for each side of my bed, otherwise I'd buy another.
